NZ Breakers @ Perth Wildcats: Wildcats -5.5

This game has massive playoffs atmosphere behind it for several reasons. Perth embarrassed last weekend losing both games by blowout to the lowly Kings. The 2nd reason is that if they win tonight, they basically make the post-season and they will also take the series advantage over NZ as well as the NZ holds a current 2-1 record vs the Cats this season but they won their 2 games by 4 & 6 but the Cats won their game against NZ by 16 so advantage is in Perth's favor if they win tonight. NZ won the last time they visited Perth, I don't see any team winning 2 straight road games in Perth. NZ played last weekend in Cairns, not too sure if they went back home to NZ or if they stayed in and around Perth after that game because travel would be crazy if they did go back home and then to Perth. Either way, this has a massive Perth win written all over it IMHO and its the only side I believe to take in this game. 

It has been one of those crazy season mate, who would think the Kings beat the Wildcats twice in one weekend? The top 4 is almost decided IMHO with no clear front runner at all. I had to take some weeks off away from the league because it was just crazy

JIVE!!!, great to see you again mate. Hope all is well and you enjoyed a nice long weekend.. Agree, the Cats are a mess compared to previous seasons but I felt as though last night, a Saturday night in the Jungle would be too much for NZ as NZ have been pretty poor since the November 10 day break.

With the win last night for the Wildcats and the loss for the Breakers, the later evening game is a big one for both Cairns/Hawks because it means their post-season is alive if they can keep winning. Will chat about that game shortly. Moving onto this early game though. The Kings were extremely good last weekend vs the Wildcats who were absolutely horrendous offensively in both games. Massive letdown spot here today against Melbourne who can get closer to claiming that number #1 spot. A win today, means they will go to a 16-7 record with just 4 games to go and Adelaide will be 15-9 but only 3 games to go. I think Melbourne can light it up today against an over-achieving, 7-16 S/U Kings. 

Thanks D-Play.. Needed sometime away from both leagues to watch and see what happens. Top 4 almost certain now and I would have to say they all deserve their top 4 status over the rest of the league. GL today buddy on your plays 

The Hawks keep their slim playoff hopes alive but the rest of the pack are out of the post-season. We have some massive games this weekend coming up.

That Hawks vs NZ double header has massive ramifications on the playoffs.. NZ sitting at 13-9 with 5 games to go, the Hawks at 10-12 with 5 games to go. If somehow the Hawks can win both, they have a very good chance of taking over NZ in 4th. Perth and Adelaide double header is massive as well for the top 3 spots. Great weekend of action coming up
