I've got a theory that "fat al" aint really that great a coach, he's inherrited some terrific lineups and basically kept everyone happy and nursed them to two titles.
Goorjian is hands down the better coach

Tigers win tonight but I feel stronger about the Dragons' title credentials after this game than I do about the Tigers.
Tonight was taylor-made for the Tigers to win and win well, but the "rusty" Dragons were tough as shit and if the game went another 5 mins, they'd probably have won.

I think the books showed a distinct lack of "feel for the game" by setting the line in this game anywhere near 200.
sure both previous encounters between these two teams had been a few points either side of the 197 mark, but this one, at the cage, where the Tigers love to slow the tempo, was tailor made for a slug fest.
