Could you imagine the uproar if the scenario was flipped around and a top American athlete was denied entry to any of the other slams over this?
Or if Tiger Woods wasn't allowed to play in the British Open at the peak of his career because he was a sex addict and the British government was in the midst of a 2+ year long campaign to Crack down on sexaholics...
I think this is the beginning of the end for me as a tennis wagering enthusiast, and the past two weeks snoozefest of fake masters series 1000 events gives me the impression I may have to take a serious break from this sport as a fan in general...the fact that no one in the tennis world is publicly backing Novak and are content with the same silence they have shown Shuai Peng, disgusts me to the point where I don't want anything to do with this sham of an association called the ATP.
To be as transparent as possible, I have naturally talented athletic kids of my own which I have been coaching all racquet sports since they were all old enough to hold on and grip the smallest handle possible...maybe this is the ultimate sign that I should be going all in and giving them every opportunity to succeed in whatever racquet sport they love the most...albeit I will be obviously guiding all of them towards tennis if they truly enjoy it.
I'll be getting to know the Mayfair clubs in the GTA very well over the next many years.

Why should an American be given any special treatment for deliberately committing a crime in a foreign country, let alone a communist one which clearly has severe consequences if laws are broken.
Medvedev handled that irrelevant poticial question with class when it had absolutely nothing to do with tennis or the US Open. Props to him for not taking the bait from that fake journalist looking to stir up controversy for a Russian athlete competing on American soil

Does anyone play to win the game anymore?
If this ends up being true given the ties the sport has with the books and gambling now, does this warrant the death penalty of the ASU football program in order to protect the desired optics of credibility for betting purposes moving forward?
