T20: Hurricanes vs Strikers

Strong lean on the hurricanes. Adelaide will welcome back strike bowler Shaun Tait but Hobart’s in-form top order should be more than a match. Both Ricky Ponting and Tim Paine  are averaging 40+ so far this season.
The league’s leading wicket taker Ben Laughlin  should provide enough to restrict Adelaide’s batting order, who will be down after a low 107 against the Renegades.

Also sportsbet are offering $5 for Laughlin and botha to get a combined four wickets or more anyone else thinks thats a good bet?

Tim Ludem represents exactly what T20 is and in particular the big bash.......For 3 games everytime he went for a mash, it went off. The last 2 games, he went for a smash, and he got out....It all comes down if you are lucky on the night.

And thats game, I am going out, was looking forward to watching a good big bash game, but who am i kidding that it is possible that a good game could eventuate in this joke of a league.....

Hurricanes chances for the title rests with Laughlin - if he gets called up to Australia (which he should) then they are going to suffer bigtime
