used to make some nice coin on snooker, just don't have time for it now
O'Sullivan has a broken ankle, not that he's going to be running or anything but knowing his temperament, I wouldn't want to back him giving up that many frames.

Yeah the broken ankle hasn't ruled him out, I think he wins this comfortably regardless.

Great start to the tournament, I would be 11-0 if I didn't lose the two -3.5 handicap on O'Sullivan & Trump who both won 6-3, 6-3 so lost both games by .5, close margins the name of the game in this sport.

its a shame the UK is best of 11, I remember when it was best of 19, its was the premier tournament outside the worlds, i miss the glory days of snooker,

I completely agree, best of 11 makes very difficult to cap...it is a good format for some underdogs & shock wins, I've always loved the UK championship for some reason maybe because it doesn't drag on.

Decided to go with the handicap on Cahill, I liked what I saw last night this chap is one for the future mark my words...his whole demeanor around the table shows that, very fearless and talented.

ronnie is without doubt the most naturally gifted player to pick up a cue, I remember seeing him in an exhibition with steve davis when he was like 19, he was potting things I didn't think were possible.
nice record
