Okay, last dig at the horses for 2010.

Harris Tweed has a fucking awesome barrier, has the conditions to suit. He'll run a big race. He'll be my Each way bet. Zipping will be a place bet. I'll also put on a trifecta - narrowed it down to an early10, need to make it six.

Which four horses get the chop out of the following list?

Zipping, Harris Tweed, So You Think, Shocking, Descarado, Americain, Bauer, Shoot Out, Precedence, Mr Medici

 

 

Want to box six horses.

Harris Tweed, Zipping and Americain are the three definites. Need to work out which one of the favourites won't run a big race.

Fourth place will go to either So You Think or Shocking.

Got to have a longer shot in there - Bauer or Mr Medici.

The last spot is between Descarado, Shoot Out and Precendence,

I know absolute squat on horses.....

But from what i have read.....

So you think = Andrew Johns?

So you Think = Larry Davidson at Wollongong + Raiders on monday night



But he has never ran over this distance before

So You Think = Ace's + Rod's + Battler's + Bolar's betting success

I'll be on So You Champion in some capacity tomorrow. I don't give two fucks if he hasn't run 3200, he is the best horse in the field, has barrier 3 and Bart says he was bred to run the trip and has been trained to run the trip.

Tell me, how many horses in this field have been that dominant at 3200 that they should warrant mention in the same breath as So You Champion?

So you Champion will more then likely win by 600 lengths eased up but in such a large field on a donkey wet track i don't like to take short odds thats why i would rather just have a mug on a few roughies and hope for the best








What Happens if So you Champion gets cramped for room in the 800 horse field entering the straight

$3 fav blocked for room and can't get out in the straight

So you Think gets out of the barrier slowly and get trapped on the rails from barrier 3

Glenn Munsie gets inspired by "Phar Lap" the movie and tries to drive by shoot So you Think tomorrow morning

SYT won't be a 3 dollar favourite. He will be under 2 bucks. $1.80 will be his price by racetime.

Yeah, you don't want to fuck with Bart, but Shocking. Yes I know he has the widest barrier but I think Shocking is Bart's best choice tomorrow.

Now that I said that, SYT will win by 100 lengths.

What has Bauer's prep been like? He's at some insane odds after coming second last year.

The track will play a major role... If you can you should wait to see the track rating first and listen to some jockeys comments from earlier races...

If its a slow to heavy track like predicted from your horses I'd take:

Harris Tweed (One of my main chances although only if wet)
Descarado
Shoot out (Really like him here)
Americain
Shocking
Mr Medici

I honestly dont think so you think will run a place but thats just my opinion...

He has had 2 runs since the the 08 cup which have been pretty poor efforts... Also he will be vetted tomorrow morning... He has a bruised hoof...

He didn't run second last year he ran second in 08... Dunno if thats a typo on your end but i thought i'd point that out just incase...
