Like Hawthorn to run out big winners, but the -44.5 is screaming danger. Got nipped by 2 points on the Swannies last round on a 40-point spread and that is what you are getting yourself into with these types.
That being said, I capped Hawthorn on Monday morning at 45 points to win, but for some reason, now seeing the spread at 42.5 and now 45.5, don't see it being a nail-biter. Either the Hawks win by 30 or by 50+. Hmmmm...
I might go large on the Hawks ML for shits and giggles. Won't win much but will win and we all like that now don't we?
No upset special here for the Weagles.

Saints/Kangas line has been dropped to 8 and has been suspended on TAB as well. Why is that? Del Santo and Milne are back in, but is that the reason?
Leaned Roos early in the week, but their effort stats are poor, especially their inside 50's. St.Kilda, on the other hand, because of injury and defections, have lost a good deal of talent in their play this season but not their effort. That scares me, and seeing the Saints revved up for this one and the Roos coming down off a big win over the Hawks, leaves me a no-play.

Bulldogs to crush Port. Port is filling the ranks with youngsters and surely WB cannot be happy with the way they ran out against Collingwood last round.
The 32.5 is a big number, and the Bulldogs will probably cover it, but I am happy to sit on the sidelines for this one right now.

Melbourne has shown rapid improvement over the past six weeks and, though they are still losing, they are being much more competitive. They ran the Swans hard last round and the final margin of 40 does not do the Dees justice in how much they were in that game, save for the 30-1 head-start they allowed the Swans to take.
Brisbane has been a roller-coaster ride this season and I expect them to pummel the Dees here in a statement to get back into things and up the ladder. Brisbane might be looking at percentage as well due to the foreseeable jam at the bottom of the 8 which could make all the difference.
Lean on Brisbane minus the points.

I leaned on Essendon early in the week, and even liked them straight-up. However, I have cooled off somewhat due to Fremantle being seemingly geared up for this match. Farmer and Black are out and those are big losses, but Winderlich is out for the Dons, though not as big a loss.
Home pitch advantage could swing this into Freo's way and the tricky two-goal spread is hard to get a solid grip on. I still think there is a winner in this match, wager-wise, but still foggy as of now.

MELBOURNE have dumped first-choice ruckman Jeff White and
lost co-captain James McDonald to a groin injury for Sunday's clash
with Brisbane at the MCG.
White, who will be out of contract at the end of the year, had just 11 possessions and 18 hitouts against Sydney last week.
Former
elite basketballer Stefan Martin, who completed his first full season
of football last year in the VFL, will make his AFL debut.
Young
midfielders Simon Buckley and Shane Valenti have been recalled to play
against the Lions, while James Frawley has been omitted.
The Lions regain star players Daniel Bradshaw, Travis Johnstone and Justin Sherman for Sunday night's match.
Lachlan Henderson, James Polkinghorne and Cheynee Stiller made way for the trio.
