Brad Hogg makes Aussie 20-20 team at age 40

Yes his shelf life is going to be limited, but I applaud this decision. Wrist spinners have proven very effective all summer. You pick the best people for the job, regardless of age. Have seen alot of him in the big bash very impressive.

Sub Continent international batters will be able to handle him very easily compared to Hacks like Enrqiues, Klinger and co........

Easier not easily yes. I still think he will be effective.

no Cam white is a huge plus

but they made this guy captain?

I am glad Marsh and Christian are in......Some real thump there.

However, i dont think we will be effective in the T20 WC later this year, only because it is on the dust pans in SL.

Pakistan will win that tournament. They have 2 of the best 3 T20 bowlers in the world in Afrid andHafeez. They also have Ajmal who gives left handers absolute fits...If they arent going to fix the results they should win it......

Is George Bailey a professional captain?

He has been just as bad as White in the Big Bash this season.

Bailey cant throw either. His shoulder is f###ed

What are your thoughts on the Hogg inclusion Rod?

I just went through the past 3 years Big Bash performances by Bailey and he has scored ONE half century during that span!!! And this for a guy who sans this season has been consistently batting at 3 or 4 for Tassie

Is this some kind of joke?

Very good selection, has been the standout spinner of this Big Bash this season and all this when playing half his games on the least conjuicive pitch for spin in the country.

Add to that left arm chinamen is start a rare thing these days around the world, I didn't see one batsmen in this year's tournament able to pick his wrong 'un

Bailey being made captain of Australia is like putting a class 6 horse into the Dubai World Cup

So you Think is fav for the Dubai World Cup

Pakistan would win every tournament if they were serious about cricket

The 3 noobs all back in the shed

I think we should stick with Shaun Marsh because he has a nice haircut and wears lots of zinc, those attributes are very important in a team sport

Shaun Marsh

swampy and swampy jr could both be sacked on the same day

Shaun marsh got bowled from a straight ball, what a player

And based on his reaction you would have sworn is was a new mystery ball

Swampy has been sacked........

Apparently while SL were playing a game, swampy was seen online watching his son bat in another game, instead of concentrating on his own team......

Sri Lanka, India and Australia in the tri series

India's confidence completely shot

Sri Lanka getting pasted left, right and center since the world cup

This will be competitive for sure

All depends what they "want" to happen financially

India, Bangladesh, SL are all very corrupt IMO
