commentators talking a good game on Australia's behalf but the proteas are doing it pretty easy imo ... with their deep batting lineup they should make 2000+ here.

Yeah, I was tempted to play the draw before the start of play but went off it after reading that these two hadn't played a draw in their last 386 matches..

Siddle wicket off a no ball - fast bowlers should be fined half their match fee every time that happens

Nathan Lyon only gets wickets when the batsmen gets so incredibly bored of facing such a dud bowler that they slog out and get caught in the outfield

Michael Clarke is a better bowler than Lyon. I can only assume his shaggers back is preventing him from rolling the arm over.

    Quiney, token Victorian.

Selectors apparently determined to select the next best batsman in the country rather than an all rounder to replace Watson.

Yep, 7 first class hundreds at 37.70.

    Fuck me dead.

The key to Australian test cricket success over the next three to five years ?

    Rain and lots of it.

We're a class below this south african side. Our lineup is just riddled question marks and weaknesses.

more then just question marks and weaknesses, but retards.

3 of the 4 bowlers have to go. Pattinson, Starc, Copeland and Hazlewood/Cummins are the base of the pace attack, and any retard but Lyon or Beer can be the spin bowler.

But they will make changes by brining in reatrds like Ryan Harris to fail again

They pick a batsmen that can't even average over 40 in shield cricket. Khawaja should have come in at 3. An opener is needed that win't get either 8 or 80. And a few batsmen where there isn'r confusion about whether the number is their average or their age

NZ won over 12 months ago, and nothing has been fixed. There are 2 Ashes series in the next 12 months, and things are not looking good. Start by picking guys that can take wickets

The sport  needs a complete overhaul, The commentators are biased and other than slats and tubby they are just bad. Unless your over 50 you have no interest in these old pricks.

The team is life less, Take out Shane Watson and the rest don't even look like sportsmen. But i guess you only play cricket as a kid when you can't play the other sports

Trouble is our 'wunderkind' fast bowlers are all as brittle as china and break in half as soon they play anything longer than a T20.. I do like the look of hazlewood though..

And Trent copeland's name should never be mentioned in a conversation about test cricket - the bloke bowls 110kph on a good day ffs.. If they forecast a particularly wet summer for England next year then maybe he's worth taking over there but under any normal test conditions he is fruit for the sideboard.

The batting situation has become a farce - and because of that were fast approaching the point of no return for next yrs ashes.. If the selectors had 'bedded in' some guys with more tomorrows than yesterday's they'd hit England with 20 or so tests under their belts.. Instead we're still treading water with ponting who is just stupendously past it in terms of being able to handle the sort of bowling that SA and Eng throw at you..

The best investment you can make this summer is a small am/fm radio that you can plug in in your lounge room so can mute the ch9 cheerleaders and get it straight from ABC radio... And laugh your ass off listening to Kerry O'Keefe

The problem is 3/4 of the team dont give a fuck about test cricket anymore......They are all businessman looking for $$$...

If there wasnt such a big lucarative offer in the champions league would Cummins have gone over to SA with a stress fracture in his foot and played 7 games?

    What about Watson?

The only guys who really care are Punter and Clarke, simply because they have made there money and Clarke is guaranteed no matter what.

The rest are trying to mximise their $$$, and that means more focus on 20/20 cricket....

They are slowly turning into India....Do you think India gave a fuck when they were out here last year? lol and Aus thought they were good cause of what they did...Even the highest authority in Indian cricket said they dont care.....

Thats all what its about, $$$$....
