Hey all,

Well I will be keeping all my plays for these 2 leagues under this thread. 

Locking in one play for this weekend so far.

Sydney Kings vs Wollongong Hawks: Kings -4

Will take the Kings in this game with this small line. They now have Josh Childress in their line-up and the Hawks are playing tonight against the Crocs in Wollongong and then making the drive up to Sydney to play the Kings in a 24 hour time period. B2B's dont mean too much right now because its the start of the season but I think the Kings are under-valued in this game.

Why is the Breakers line so high? Cedrick Jackson back and Ennis gone for Perth

Hey Hugo,

I was thinking the very same. This line seems over inflated because of last season's results. NZ had a bad season last year and I think we might get some inflated lines and I think I will have a play on them this weekend..

 I do see Perth have a couple more US imports but I think when CJ is on the floor any double digit line has to be backed, he is a freak and can win games by himself at this level.

Looks to me like Pledger is playing, also they've recruited Ekene Ibekwe he is a 6 foot 9 Nigerian who has played college bball in America and played in Spain last year

Hey Azimarx,

Always tough at the start of the season but I would lean Cairns vs the Adelaide as I think Adelaide have some issues on offense and Cairns will run and gun and put up a lot of 3 balls as for the Wollongong vs Townsville, I have no clue mate. You would think the Hawks would want a win tonight seeing they play Sydney tomorrow night but opening day last season the Hawks got thumped by NZ in NZ. Different story at home I guess but I would really stay away from this game.

Tom Abercrombie hasn't traveled with the team, eyeing a return in a couple of weeks. Thats one of the main reasons.

WOW Rod.. Just read that after seeing your post. Thats huge news. But on a bad note, they have lost Monika Wright (Lynx) and Liz Cambage. I wonder if Cappie is going to improve her shooting this time around

Think I might just give up on the NBL.. Too many inconsistent teams in that league.. Capped it last season and found the same problem.. But I do like the ladies so lets get it started. Like Rod Steel, I like the Rangers as well

Sydney Uni @ Canberra Captials

Over 149.5 - $1.88

Canberra played down last night to the Boomers slow pace. Sydney on the other hand love playing fast and within the 24 sec shot clock. I think both teams hit 75+ in this game forcing the over. Bibby didn't play many minutes last night either, expect her to sink some 3's and as well as Ebzery for Sydney Uni

Adelaide Lightning @ West Coast Waves 

Over 140.5 - $1.88


Total is set too low for my liking. Waves have some new young talent as well as experience and so do Adelaide. Both teams have some American players in their team and I think both teams can hit 70+

Bendigo Spirit @ Townsville Fire

Fire H2H - $1.89

Grand final revenge + the Spirit haven't had the best pre-season and the Fire are well rested. Spirit have struggled over the years in Townsville winning just 1 in the pat 5 up there.

Not playing NBL no more Hugo. The league is a joke. Wouldn't be surprised to see Melbourne win S/U. I would say Breakers should win but anything is possible in NBL mate.
