some bookies have magies saints 1.90 still others are offline so posting the teams from last week - shaw n didak and ball to see how strong they are.

300 on the saints pick
also liking the doggies line of -10 or so...games at telstra where they play there best and they dont have any injuries( west has been out all year)....the roos where +6 to the lions last week last time i checked the doggies where better than the lions this year so the line shouldnt be similar to that game. typical bookies giving out good lines to the capper because of the last 2 minutes of a game from the week before. if the lions kicked the last 2 of the game for a 20 pt win the line would be twice as high in this game.

I am also very puzzled by that Bulldogs/Roos line as well.  Perhaps the recent poor form of the Dogs coupled with the better form of the Roos has set that line?

Then again, the magical TD factor for the Dogs is worth 10 points alone.

If the line is -10, I will be all over it as well.

This was the same line for the last time they met, maybe a couple of points less, where north (luckily) won by 3 points, thanks to Johnson missing the goal after the siren.

theyll win and hopefully cover..blues play port then the roos brissy and hawks so are a chance to make the 8.so will be switched on for this game ..last weeks saints port game just makes this one more likely to cover as blues wont play lethargic like the saints did or theyll go under and  blow there chances to make the 8.cant see how theyd lose this game and 4 goals isnt much to cover against a team trialling youngsters.

the games played before the saints magies game so the chance that if magies won and blues would be 2 games out the 8 and there chances be slim of making the 8 and perhaps not play as hard arent there so theyll go all out.

i saw the roos had won the last 4 and thought to stay away but am gonna stay with the doggies.. in this case doggies are better this year than the last few years..so just this years result matters..roos won just so doggies would love to get some payback and seal a top 2 spot..rarely do u see a team keep winning head to head when the teams are so u wouldnt expect roos to win this then another etc. roos cant always keep beating the dogs dogs have the better form this year so looks like a time for them to get a win.

robert harvey announced his retirement today..if the saints beat the magies theyll give him 1 more shot at the flag..they lose and there chances of making the 8 are a dog fight..so anyone who was thinking wether they should or shouldnt take the saints they have a lil something more to play for in this game now.

what's the best multi (2 legs) for the weekend? can it be:
 
sydney -16.5 / carlton -23.5
sydney 1-39 / carlton -23.5

Syd/Carl ML's paying $1.80.  Just to be sure, gambling is a long term option...so don't be too risky on the lines IMO

Personally I will be taking Syd at the line (that's if someone put a gun to my head)...but the line for this game is down to 13.5 so there must be something up here, anyone know why?

Apart from 20mins of being blasted off the park, I thought the swans put in a good effort last week. But there seems to be a fair bit of interest in Freo, I can't understand it!!!!!!!!!

They have only beaten the bottom 3 teams lately. I see somebody has put this on at TAB...
