BOLAR, could you please identify 3 sleeper/cheap players from each position that I could add into my dream team. This is my second year following the sport and first year playing dream team.

Just my thoughts and I am an AVG DT'er.

..... you must seriously have a shitload of money left over. Even with lots of money in the bank you have some very risky players in terms of injury and consistancy. You might find you end up burning your trades just to covers the injuries. Not enough premiums either.

Only a quarter of those will actually start the season I reckon. I can understand why people are taking Suns players but I would really only take 3. Stanley, Swallow and Matera.

How many games are the Suns going to be realistically competitive in let alone win is my question? I would not be suprised if they went the whole season without a win.

Anyway we find out in what 7 days time

Prestia will play a lot I think based on his pre-season form. Harris is definitely in that squad come round 2. He is a better option than Swallow. It's out of Harris and Swallow for mine.,

My starting midfield for round 1 already reads: Pendles, Bartel, Dal Santo, Anthony, Foley, Hibberd. For round 2, Hibberd will go in the backline and Harris will take his spot in the midfield. So I really can't have two gold coast players in there unless I take out Foley, and according to all reports, Foley is going to have a great year. He will be a good upgrade after a couple months.

And I must add, Ablett will be my upgrade from Foley and I will get Ablett mid season.

I had Anthony in my team but took him out. I would have thought he would have done better in the preaseason especially with the injuries. Changed him to Palmer

Hope Foley works for you and does not get injured.

Yeah, it was Foley or Cotchin. I wanted Cotchin but also wanted Fraser as the back-up ruck.

Until Hale can show he will play every game, I'm not going to do the forward/ruck switches.

I was going to have Petrie in the team but as he's missing 2 of the first 4 weeks, there's no point.

We only have 6 people.

Bolar have a look at Vickery from Richmond for a cheap ruck option he has been scoring well and hasn't any real competition.

Don't worry mate you will get more people joining. I should be able to get another 3 to 4 people from my league onto yours

Yeah, not sure if I can afford Vickory. At the moment my rucks are: Sandilands and Cox with Fraser the backup. Will leave it at that unless 2 get injured at the same time and miss a few weeks....

What do you think of N.Naitanui? For his price, is it worth it?

I had him last year and he frustrated the shit out of me........ even for that price.

He might everage 60-70. Worsfold has mentioned that he will rest Cox down forward which is good for both players. But if Cox gets injured or needs to be rested then NicNat will score 90+. WC other ruck option are just rubbish. But do you take the gamble

I've been tweaking my team....the final team depends on who plays round 1.

I'm going in with two listed ruckman who are going to be playing.

Ruck combination:

Sandilands, Cox starting with Hale and Trengove on the bench. Idea is that one of those two will go up in price that I can downgrade to a cheaper priced ruckman at a later date to clear up cash to upgrade players in other positions.

Trengove is definitely playing 22 games this year holding down CHB for the scum.

But, here is the iffy thing. I have both Doughty and Otten in my backline. Wary taking two of the same team. I have puopolo on the bench as he's probably starting in the 22.

But my contingency is the following. I need to see who Geelong's backup ruckman will be whether it's West or Blake or Simpson. Both cheaper than Hale and I can get rid of Trengove to one of them, upgrade Puopolo to Danny Stanley and upgrade Doughty to Ellis, Hargrave or Birchall.

Hampson could also be Carlton's number 1 ruckman - so can downgrade Trengove. So need one of those ruckman; Stanley, West, Simpson, Hampton, Vickery, to put 5 consecutive games together so I can offload them for a rookie priced Ruckman - there is potential to make 50k+ off one of those ruckman.

If Vickery plays for Richmond, it's even better for me.

But as soon as I can make cash, I will be happy sitting with a starting ruckman for another club to cover the bye/injury and a cheap ruckman who isn't playing but could play
