I would have Watson bat at 6. Not good enough to keep getting starts and not going on with it. Stems from the fact that he doesn't have the opener temprament so not really his fault.

Thank God someone else has this idea.An opener has soft hands,determined concentration and is a team player not a showpony.Time to take a risk and start blooding young batsmen and give them a career and not turn them into a Brad Hodge or Dave Hussey who should have played a good test career.Selectors have this mess to answer to
