Nothing jumping out for me in the afternoon games. Not impressed with either Slovakia or Denmark so that game could go either way imo. I thought maybe Switzerland as France is coming off of the win against Finland but France has Canada on deck tomorrow so not sure the let own spot applies here. Just going to sit back and watch.

I watched the game and Italy is just unlucky... They are not playing bad hockey but seems like they are going to drop out from the elite division anyways, they are just unlucky - lost to Latvia in thee last minute and lost the lead vs Slovakia in the last minute lol.

Tough loss for Italy against Slovakia and the USA is coming off the win against Sweden and a day of rest. Should be similar to the Italy / Russia game imo.

My book was offering Sweden -2.5 -142 for the longest time but I didn't play it. Now it is -3 -102. I'm still going to play it especially with the pending arrival of King Henrik. Big moral boost imo.

Might be some value with Belarus tomorrow depending on the line/spread. France went all out today and could show fatigue while Belarus had a day of rest.

Ugh! I was so hoping that Latvia would win that game against Germany because I want nothing to do with a host nation in a knock out game. We saw how France played Canada and I expect the Germans to play a similar tight close game as well. Add the fact that they added a proven NHL star in Leon Draisaitl to the team leads me to believe that this game will come down to the wire. Germany will have to play a flawless game and get an abundance of great goal tending as well as a few breaks from the officials. All points mentioned will occur combined with a passionate crowd means getting 3 goals is a gift at plus money.
