You all want to talk about the Defensive players for Detroit. But that's because you know of those guys. Once the pens win the cup, you will get to know their other players. This isn't Detroit from 1 year ago. That team allowed 23 shots. This team allows 28 and allowed Chicago an average of 35 shots a game in games 2,3 & 4. The pens shooting % is near 12% right now. Chicago much lower at 9%. Its going to be a great great series. But the teams are much more equal then you realize. You will find out shortly.
I have the Wings in 7. So ya, i think the teams are pretty close. Like i said, a healthy Wings team is better then this Pittsburgh club. We'll find out shortly.

The wings give up 28 this year, compared to flat dominant 23 last year. unlike last year, the Pens are going to get their shots. The ice won't be tilted like last year. Penguins have also tightened the gap in face off's. Wings are at 52% in the playoffs, pens 50%. Pens have a much better shooting % and if they can hang with Detroit on Shots (meaning losing the shot battle by say just 5 , and not 15-20) the pens will win the series. Chicago took the wings multiple OT games. The ducks took the wings to the limit. Pens are healthy and on the rise.Pens are the NHL's next dynasty. Detroit, well, uneasy lies the head who wears the crown.
But if there is nothing I like to hear more its that Wing backers think the series price is a joke. Free money eh? gotta love the dumb ass public.

But im not a big fan of betting the playoffs cause you can't find the different atvantages that is during the reg. season (roadtrips, backup goalie, b2b vs 2-day rest...)
Everything can happend, but it won't be a sweep and it should be a great series to watch...

Dude, seriously. Detroit's 4th Line is better than some team's 1st. Datsyuk and Draper banged up. Big deal. We've got 10+ other guys who will kill you. Maybe for some other team losing two top guys would hurt. Like if the Pens lost Malkin and Guerin. Yeah, that's huge. Detroit would have to lose 4+ guys to have an effect.
