Needless to say I will be plunking down cash on the B's to win this series. But I am holding out for a bit better payout. They are using a .40 cent line, so I am going to wait for John Q. to make a move. B's money should come in early then hopefully at gametime the Nucks money will come in and knock the B's up to +200
Nucks should win the series statwise, but I hold that the payback is just too big. I give the Nucks a 60% chance to win the series. So of course +180 payback or more is more than enough payback to roll the dice on the B's.
Hey Rat, have they posted any numbers in Vegas ? Although I'm sure at this time you are still 'ing.

+200 now most places already and it will keep on climbing. You will get better than 2-1 odds if you want the Bruins. However you will get around that number in the games in Vancouver I suspect too so game by game would be a better avenue.
If you bet Boston every game and the series sits at 3-2 at some point then you have made some profit. If they can get the series to 2-2 during it, you will have made even better profit and could then back off and enjoy. So all your asking them to do is be competitive and betting them game by game makes you a winner, you don't need them to win that way but you win. The way to go and what my plan will be.
The Sharks were +165 to +170 in that 5th game in Vancouver so based on that with this series already being a done deal and not very competetive according to everyone I expect the Bruins to be around the +190 to +200 number in Vancouver based on power rankings and public perception. The Bruins should be about even money +100 at home to the soon to be crowned Stanley Cup Champs and if these numbers are not that good then Vegas will be telling me they give the Bruins a lot more respect than anyone else I am reading or hearing is.
Where else are you seeing +200 PB? The only ones I am seeing are 5d and bet365.

Hahaha no need to apologize. I'm as excited as anyone looking at these ridiculous Bruins numbers for the sake of my Nucks futures. But I'm sure my pinnacle thread pretty much gave that away. Especially as a guy with no possible way of making a bet there.

I honestly don't see a reason why Boston can't make this a competitive series. People act like the Nucks completely blew the Sharks out of the water. Fact is, they scored THREE 5 on 3 goals in game 4 in a game they won while being outshot 2-1 (yes I know shots don't tell the whole story but still) and needed a miracle tying goal with 13 seconds left (combined with a bad icing call) + insane/ludicrous/disgusting goal in OT the likes of which we may never see again in a game they were BADLY outplayed in game 5. If one of the above does not happen, we could be looking at a game 7 tonight.
I give the Nucks all the credit in the world, but I think you get my point.

Bruins will be very hard to beat in a seven game series now. #1 reason is as a team they are absolutely peaking right now and im sure the Canucks cant say that. #2 Tim Thomas can steal as few games by himself. #3 Chara will render the Suduin twins all but useless esp in the games in Boston. #4 The Bruins are a great road team and seem to play there best hockey on the road. #5 Kesler Van's best player will not be 100%. #6 Tyler Seguin is emerging in front of our eyes. The posted odds are way off as it seems even the oddsmakers don't realize how much talent and how good this Bruins team is. I see Van as a slight favorite and only because a possible game 7 would be on there home ice..but then again the Bruins are really a great road team....Bs also have HEART this will be a great series and don't be surprised if the Bruins take this thing in six.

Sound like a homer. Chara does nothing. Seguin already blew his load.
I hate both teams so I'm not biased.

The reason his plus-minus is high is because power play goals don't count against.
Am I missing something or is he the only one that PP goals don't count against ? Pretty sure it doesn't count against ever other player in the league also. Still at the top.
Look at the whole season rather than a 4 game span. Oh BTW the way he looked pretty good against the Nucks in the Feb game.
Yeah, he shuts shit down, but not every single game played. Like any player.

before game seven last night the Hilton had Canucks 4-9, Bruins 3-1, and Lightning 6-1. I'm sure that Bruins number came down after they won.
think the offshore book series numbers mentioned will probably be about the same here.
https://www.vegasinsider.com/nhl/odds/las-vegas/ says Bruins +175 Canucks -190 for game one @ the Hilton. will probably get past there this weekend and check their series and all of Jay Kornegays "sonder wetten" (special bets). don't know IF the Bruins can actually WIN the Cup BUT will defiantely play a "Lippsman Split" the first two games in Vancouver

Umm some of your point are valid, but.... how can you say that the Canucks aren't peaking or that the Bruins are peaking more. The Canucks just finished the sharks in 5 games and the Sedins (you may want to learn how to spell their names) are in great form. Kesler will have a whole week to rest and if you didn't notice can still get the job done when he's not 100% (tying goal in game 5) and Seguin is a rookie, he's not going to have a breakout series against the most complete defensive unit in the nhl
