currently + 110 to win the Cup .. are you kidding me an expansion team to win the Stanley Cup? this is equivalent to an expansion team winning the Super Bowl, it seems impossible but VGK will win the cup imo .. I live in Vegas and ever since opening night when VGK honored the victims of the las vegas shootings  it has been an amazing story .. the city and team have rallied around each other to put together this incredible season i have never seen anything like this .. the other day i went to the wells fargo bank for a few minutes afterwards i went to Smiths grocery store for about 30 minutes and no exaggeration i probably seen over 100 people wearing Golden Knights shirts .. this city has rallied around this team like you can not believe it is insane VGK and Vegas Strong signs. and stickers every where you look .. Vegas Golden Knights will win the Stanley Cup for the city of Las Vegas and to honor the victims of the shooting i have no doubt about this .. VGK to win it all load up on that baby because its money in the bank

Leicster City is as big of a story (When they one the Premier League)   The two clowns in this thread insinuating  it is "scripted" please put your tin foils hats on now

they were stacked with so much talent but yet at the beginning of the season the "experts" projected them to be a bottom 5 team in the league, if they was so stacked with talent oddsmakers would not open them up at 500 to 1 odds to win the cup .. after they win the cup they will go down as the greatest story in sports history

so much revisionist history from hockey fans now who are complaining about the expansion rules or nhl gm's being terrible..one of those is more true as vegas acquired their best players through trade because other gm's wanted to protect who they thought were their better players 

but anyways no one was predicting vegas would be remotely good  at the start of the year and now all these whinebags are crying about it...to funny

and leicester city was 5000-1 to win ....vegas was 200-1...not even close to being the biggest underdog story...

This is hilarious.  The old farts can not admit that VGK is just a better team.  So they say VGK gets help...which causes them to win.

 

This is called fixing a game.  So if the game is fixed, stop betting.  Or bet Vegas only.

People keep calling it an expansion team (it is, technically) but the way wherein they built their team is monumentally different than years ago.

This is not a typical expansion team. Its loaded with strong, capable players, strong goaltending etc etc Outside of chemistry, they had just as good of a shot coming into the season as anyone else.

Everyone is amazed because of the word "expansion," but it simply doesn't and never did mean anything this year. Vegas had a HUGE talent pool of players to choose from all by themselves.
