Ya been on the Hawks wagon since I was old enough to know what hockey was all about. It is our time, me and my dad and any hawks fan who has stuck out the foggy days have been through all the bad times and deserve what we got right now going for us.

As a Canadian I am not bitter. That's right Jimmy....Canada is the best in hockey. I love how 70% of Chicago is canadian. I laugh at people in canada who say they cheer for Vancouver and Montreal right now because they are the only 2 canadian teams left. I always say well chicago is pretty much canadian.

Toews, Seabrook, Keith, Sharp, Versteeg, Ladd, Eager, Madden, Bolland, Sopel, Campbell, Brouwer, Fraser, Hendry. With many in the system also from Canada.

Regardless, this should be Canada's team.

how do you figure hamilton is not big enough, they have over 500,000 just in hamilton and over a million in the surrounding area and there one of the best hockey towns in canada, winnipeg is not much bigger.

Hamilton is the perfect place for a team. im sorry to say this but if there's an openning for a new franchise or for a move, Hamilton should win over both winnipeg and quebec city, they couldn't hold down there team the 1st go around, so why should they get a team before Hamilton. And we have enough struggling U.S teams.

im not sulking there at all, i want the hawks to win, i place some good coin on them to take it all, im not a vancouver fan, maybe you should read all my posts.

im just telling it how it is, hawks couldnt give tickets away when they were horrible but now there a top team and you have people who would pay top dollar to see them play. nothing wrong with that, there's banwagoners everywhere, im not saying the hawk fans in here are banwagon jumpers.

the real fans will show up win or lose, thats all im saying.

Oh I think Hamilton would be a great place for a team. I would also like to see a team in mid-west Canada, but don't know if they have enough of a population to support one.

Maybe put it south enough where they could get some U.S. fans.  Possibly close to North Dakota, although they only have 646,000 residents that not much of a help.

Anyone from Chicago knows that Bill Wirtz was a penny pinching tool, that could care less about hockey. All he cared about was his liquor distribution business. Back in the early 80's WGN offered to televise Blackhawk Home Games, he said no because people won't come to the game. WGN said they will buy ALL of the empty seats, he asked about the money lost from hot dogs and beer. I can't even believe Rocky Wirtz is related to him.

Whos playing better than them right now?  They have the talent.  Experience may be a factor but, that didnt stop the penguins last year.

Maybe the Hawks print this guy's threads off and put them up on the wall in the dressing room.
