Well, since he threw a temper tantrum after their last game and called out his team, he's the first person I'd expect to come out and have a good game tonight. But, these guys are professionals, it shouldn't have to come down to these emotional outbursts to spark a teams motivation to win. I understand each team goes through periods of complaceny but Buffalo is the last team that should be complacent.They're certainly one of the more underachieving teams in the league so far this season but at least Vanek and the boys are still scoring goals which is why I like them tonight. Winnipeg flat out blows and they have only 1 offensive threat in Andrew Ladd and this team is 27th in the league in SOG. They'll need to be a little more productive than that to have a shot tonight because Buffalo has been finding the net as they are 7th in the league in scoring and 4th in the league in SOG. I think these stats are significant since Buffalo does play in the toughest defensive divsion in hockey. Montreal, Boston and Toronto are all league leading defensive teams in the NHL. Tonight, Buffalo has the luxury of facing a goaltender with a .889 Sv and 3.15 ga. 

Thank for the post, jlj...I don't like playing the pl in hockey or rl in baseball because of the risk involved. Sure, the reward is great but since my ultimate goal is to win my bet, most of the time, I'll stay away from value and I'll put down a little more on the ml to win the bet. My philosophy is the same for dogs. I won't just bet a dog because of the value they hold with their price, I'll only bet a dog if I think they'll win. If anything, I would lower my juice on the chalk by making a wager in regulation or I would wager -1.

As for tonight, I do expect Buffalo's offense to show up tonight
