Oh man so far this week.. im only up +5units.. ITS NOT THAT BAD! we are still in the positive and 2 more days remains.. First I want to remind us all.. ITS TRAP THURSDAY! that means.. stay away from the EASY looking games! And I will do my best to find those trap games. Today I will only post 3-4 MAX no more then that! coming off of 2 days lost is unacceptable! LETS GET IT TODAY!!!

Sabres/Bruins game will go over IMO. Sabres have the ability to score a few goals as long as Vanek plays because the offense is decent, and yet the Sabres defense is already in SHAMBLES this season. The Bruins on home ice are nasty and their fore check and pressure will get to the Sabres. 5-2 Bruins.

I have been looking closely at the jets game as well as I feel they have a very overlooked team this year ..... I can't seem to find their record vs Fl and In Fl if you locate it please pass along ....I'm with you on the blues ..however not sure about the PL as I also feel the blow jackets have improved since last year ....AVS are just a mess right now ..flames look like the play as well let's get a + Thursday !!! BOL brother

sully1 Im starting to overlook on sabre this early season.. Miller haven't been great at all.. Bruins ML looks like a safe bet to be honest..
drew1432 You gotta remember.. This year forget about the trends and leans.. Its a short season, treat every game as a playoff game.. The jets have improve this year on PP and PK SPECIALLY on the road. Panthers on the otherhand.. have nothing this season and im sure the coaching gotta change. They are bad defensively and thats a big problem.. I can see them try playing a defensive game against the jet today. If you cant find their records try NHL.com matchups.. also COVERS is the best to look at if you ask me...

  • Panthers are 0-5 in their last 5 overall.
  • Panthers are 0-4 in their last 4 games playing on 1 days rest.
  • Panthers are 0-5 in their last 5 after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game.
  • Panthers are 0-5 in their last 5 vs. Eastern Conference.
  • Over is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings.
  • Jets are 5-1 in the last 6 meetings in Florida.
  • Under is 14-5 in the last 19 meetings in Florida.

I am a life long Sabres fan. They are not nearly as talented or "gritty" as people may think. Miller is above average, and like I said the defense is suspect. Leopold sucks, Tyler Myers is regressing, Robin Reghyr is over paid and slow, and Sekera is inconsistent. If the Sabres get a lead early, they will NOT stay aggressive, and Boston will pounce. I agree that -190 is never to be taken lightly, but I actually think that ML is low for this game.

I'm on Calgary for one unit at -145. I know it's a bit of a steep price to be paying for a 1-3 club, but tomorrow's game will be a B2B and 3 games in 4 nights, all on the road, for the Avalanche. The Flames will be playing on 4 days rest so this is a good scheduling spot for them and with Chicago on deck followed by a three game road trip I believe Flames veteran leadership won't let this one slip away. Colorado will be playing without Landeskog, Downie, and O'Reilly who accounted for 52 goals last season and have had troubles putting the puck in the net this year. Rockies powerplay couldn't get much worse as they are now 1-19 on the season and never threatened while enjoying a two man advantage for about 90 seconds vs. Vancouver last night. Special teams' troubles don't end with the PP unit as Rockies have allowed 10 goals on 36 PKs and the Flames are 5-17 on the powerplay. I think this situation warrants a play on the Flames.

I see it at -180 on my sportbook.. It probaly will go higher in a few hours.. I seen alot of bad beats this year specially with the Pittsburgh their last two game of -200 ML have lost. I like to avoid those high juice games if you ask me

I have to agree with you on this the Avs is a team to fade on the road.. I like the goal tending but the special team and their defence  absolutely terrible! Leaning hard on Calgary tomorrow

Agreed. I only take those plays in a parlay.

I haven't pulled the trigger yet but I'm also leaning BLUES who are coming off of 3 days rest while CBJ are playing 3 games in 4 days. The BlueJackets are having problems putting the puck in the net and are only averaging 1.7 goals per game and registered a meager 19 shots on goal in their last outing while St. Louis is averaging the least shots on goal (19.5) per game in the league. The BLUES are 4-1 in Columbus and are playing pretty good hockey right now. Looks good but hesitating a bit because of the steep road price.

So this wk im up 120(so far) i'm thinkin 100 CALG, 50 BOS. Or is BOS spread to high? Just take the one and build my "bank"??

68dirtdogMy advice.. go with your guts! Never wrong to take 1 play a day.. 2 play is just gambling You have a bad night or a good with 1 win or 1 lost. Im leaning Calgary hard as a play right now

U know who i like is EDM as a dog! I never bet the road teams and they started slow again the other night. But they shoot the shit outta the puck late 2nd and all 3rd period! They win in the upset!

Funny thing is.. I took them twice early second ML on two games and won by FLUKE.. Yes FLUKISH if you ask me.. I donèt buy this team at all just yet.. and yeah.. I have lost even betting against them with COL! but then again its COL on the road.. They are terrible this year on the road.. Waiting for that day when they play Boston..
