SSI's NHL Totals only Thread

maybe your not understanding the question or just dodging it.  If ssi cant come to this site and interact with people here, how is posting his plays on this board helping ssi out?  This is what i dont understand. Now congratulating the guy for plays when hes not even here to read the posts, sorry but this has tout written all over it.

Good question.  He has not shared his methods.  But I believe he has developed a fundamental method of picking totals since he has found his niche and focuses all his efforts on Totals.  There is some intangible element as well (not strict system) as far as I know.  There is an art to his madness. ;)

You're right, He tried a mechanical system that didn't work.  There is an art to handicapping and through trial and error, SSI has developed his effective method of capping Totals....no mechanical system on this one.  He's been capping for 21 years now and that experience has helped him develop the success he is now enjoying.....hang in here and watch how this goes.....good luck to you!

Just a note to you.  This forum isn't like any other forum on the net. Things are ran very tight here.  You notice there is no bashing and if there is, people are booted the hell out.

But.....but....if you post something like this in any other forum here at Covers you will get the hell bashed out of you.  Plain and simple.

BTW, this does have tout written all over it.  As I said before I will let it slide for right now.  But if I, Threegirls or Webba thinks it is going over the line that will be it.

Or if enough of posters here don't have a good feel for it.

Thanks Lippsman, i just depise all these guys trying to act like regular posters with their sole intentions of trying to become a paid tout. If they want to go tout, then i say pay for ad space to start their business, dont try to act like one of the guys and get famous here for free. Purpose of these boards are to beat the man, not have other posters beat each other out of cash.

I apologize profusely if I offended anyone on this site.  I thought I answered any questions posed to the best of my ability.  But again, to be absolutely clear:

1) SSI has not nor will not be charging a penny for any of his plays posted on this site.

2) I am simply helping him out as time is slim for him to post on the sites he respects and enjoys.

3) Can we just stop rushing to judgment and let the facts speak for themselves?

Thanks for the suggestion jrock but I'd like to keep this all in one thread...just go to the end when you need the latest plays.  Hopefully, the clutter won't continue and we can get back to sharing picks with our fellow sports enthusiasts.

To respect your concerns, and I do, I will try and answer again.  SSI is attempting to do something that not many can or have done. Hit 58% against an average line of -1.10 in all sports.  To show it can be done, he wants to spread the news and demonstrate whether it is possible.  He wants as many people as possible to see it happen and benefit from beating the bookies...and isn't that what we all can agree on? We want to beat the bookies. 

Why would he need to Tout when he is showing he can beat the books and make money consistently?  We are just spreading the gospel is you will....no intention at all to tout...

I know words are cheap...but please let us prove this...thats all we ask.
