11 periods have come & gone since the last period ended in a tie in an ECF game.

 

12 periods have come & gone since the last period ended in a tie in a playoff game.

 

Both are the longest tie-droughts of their type these playoffs have witnessed.

 

..and with the Habs going up 2-0, this will be another period that dodges being tied.

Just a reminder that ECF road teams have dominated scoring first in the 3P (to the tune of 20-4) over their home team counterparts these playoffs so far (+ 9 x 0-0 ties).

Favorites have won the last 7 playoff games to go into overtime. Can't think I've witnessed a longer streak without a dog winner featuring.
