I had to read your post a few times.  I first thought you said the Nucks were going to make the Cup finals for the next three years instead of once in the next 3 years.
 
It's getting late on the right coast.
 
I doubt they will make the finals, but you just never know what will happen in the next couple of years.  Maybe they will finally get things going in the correct direction.  Once the playoffs start all you have to do is hit that groove.
 
You two could open a matchbook account and do it that way.

Let's just hope that groove doesn't involve a superstar goalie letting in 7 goals on 30 shots during the most important game of the series.

Call it whatever you want, the Canucks are missing that little piece that solves the big puzzle. Three years is a lot of time to turn things around however. Some teams have been able to make a full 180 in shorter time. And, yet, the Canucks give off the impression that they're stuck in a dead end. It's getting better that's for sure, just not good enough to cement a spot in the Finals.

I might be interested in getting in on the action Clepto .

Thinking about it I'm in as well.
 
So how many dimes did you want to wager again.
 
What you can do is open an account at Matchbook and do a special wager.  You have to call to set it up.  Fund it with as much as you want to and any of us can take as much action as we want to.  Say all 3 of us can take it for 1/3 or more is you want to put more in it.

I really don't see this happening as I highly doubt anyone of you is going to risk $2000 against my K for 3 years best case scenario. Chances are I would collect this year but I might not win the wager till next season. Safe to say I'm on the right side and this will not be forgotten, by me anyways.

Put the money up at Matchbook and I will take the wager in a heartbeat.  I'm sure Oldport and Punk won't have any problems with it either.  We are calling you on your wager.  So put up or....well you know the rest.....
 
I have no problem at all tying up 2K for 3 years.  I consider it getting value only taking a -200 wager against the Nucks making it to the cup finals.  Hell, it really should be -400.

I was joking in my earlier post but there is no way in hell I'll letting this go by if you're serious. This is the kind of bet I love having action on. Three years of money being frozen like this is a bit too long so that would limit the amount I could risk.  50% investment for 3 years. I'm in.

Perhaps we could split up the bet between us Lipps and share the profit.

Does matchbook charge for these kinds of services ?

I believe just the usual commissions.  But not too much, hell this is more for being right than the money.  But the money never hurts.

Yeah, if Clepto only had $1000 to put up then that would work out for everyone.  Or if he were sitting on more that would work out also.

I don't have a matchbook account. I have no idea how to set something like this up and make it legit. Not real interested in tying up 3K even if it is only going to take 2 years max to get paid. Lipps, if you can set it up and make it legit, i'll open an account and deposit $1000.  The 2K has to be there and I want to check it out before proceeding. Also this was initially between myself and weathered and am yet to hear from him.

Let's not get crazy. I'm on the right side but I'm certainly screwing myself out of tons of line value. I'm tempted to take all of your $$$ but that isn't going to help forum relations. Seems to me the right thing to do is stick with the initial dime as I'm giving a bad line and weary of exactly how this can be done and be legit.

That's cool is you just want to wager with weathered.  You will still have to join matchbook and creat the event.
 
Look at the bottom left of the page and you will see X-bets.  Click there.  Then at the top of the page click on create event.  That's where you will set it up.
 
You will see there are already some very odd wagers in there.
