All in all it was stupid by the Habs.  With that talent put up with that ego.  Goaltenders are always a bit off. It's best to just leave them alone and ignore them.

Same thing goes for Lindros not playing for Quebec.  That I think single handed put the Avs on the path of winning the cup.  Well with that certain goaltender that was the piece they were missing.

Qubec got a truckload of good players in that deal. Lindros shit on Quebec and they made out like a bandit.

Wow what memories you bring back to me. I have to admit I became a Nordiques fan in early 80's (that's a sin, I live 10 minutes from Montreal). 

The Nordiques leaving Quebec and the Expos leaving Montreal were sad moments for me,  very sad moments.

I'll bite : since being traded to Vancouver, Luongo, after being pulled of a agme, is 14-5 (7-4 on the road).  It's also a big revenge game for the Canucks vs the Hawks who eliminated them in the playoffs the last  2 years .
