Careful with that big bet against the wild they have some new talent and the setiguchi , kuovu , heatley (give me a break on the spelling its hockey names) line is playing well. they will have a day of rest and playing at home where they play much better.

Also they have not won in MIN since like 2006 or something stupid like that.. They don't play well there.. Just a note..

Notes: Pierre-Marc Bouchard, who had two assists in the Wild's season opener, served the first game of a two-game suspension for high-sticking Columbus forward Matt Calvert on Saturday. Bouchard also will sit out Tuesday at Ottawa. He is eligible to return Thursday against Edmonton.

his production could have helped them beat the islanders.

ottawa might have value or an under situation wild on the end of a road trip and brouchard still out .  I will post my pick after looking at ottawa.

Muse, mance, jmb, sup3r -- Yeah, I love to do the write-ups.  I actually have times where I start a write-up and realize how bad a play is and don't play it, haha!  And yeah, I would love for dallas to win.  Biggest thing I'm counting on tonight is TB though to hit that parlay!

sawman -- I use Pinny sir, I'm pretty sure they have the best lines out there.  I might load up on 5-dimes too for some props!
Kilt -- I have taken most of that into consideration.  I think I'm going to wait until after their tuesday game before I pull the trigger.  I do plan on riding the hot goaltenders until they give me a reason not to though!

Thanks again everyone.  Looking very much forward to tonight!  Dallas will start period two with the remnants of a power play, so here's hoping!

Thank you hitter.  Last season I didn't make a single pucks play honestly.  I actually haven't capped much at all since the 08/09 season.
I mentioned it before, but I'm finally in a comfortable spot in my career that I can make regular picks and watch lines and start capping effectively again.

I really do appreciate the kind words.  The NHL forum is in large the best community forum on covers, which is why even when I will have NFL/MMA picks, I will probably just put them up here haha!

ty for the insight gentlemen I got a little greedy with the dallas and vancouver PL but parlayed them with the capitals and still made some.  Great picks especially on the totals.

Nice call on the Avs tonight, Jimmus. I felt the Canucks PL should have covered if it hadn't been for some lackluster play, and they still came close hitting that open net.
