The numbers don`t lie  The only way boston even stands a chance in this series if the refs let everything go..everyone is liking the b`s at +200 or more for the series but do you think for one minute vagas about 2 give out free money...It don`t matter what you tell people they never listen any ways...The way i look at it is the nucks have the size and speed and their pp is number one..I like how ppl are compairing mtl and tampa 2 vancouver. Most of these ppl are in bed when the nucks play so how would they now how good they are...I could go on and on about this nucks team but all i can say is i know what side i will be on.

Obviously you have notbeen betting long!!!!!! the favorite doesn't win all the time.. The B's did beat the Canucks in their own building this year... Vancouver is a hell of a team but if think they should be crowned now, you are very inexperienced..

The lion and the tiger may be more powerful, but the wolf doesn't perform in the circus.

i'll answer fab's question. he is in a large hockey pool and predicted van would play boston in the finals b4 the playoffs started.
he was only piling on against the nuck posters in the chi series cuz in reality he is a flames fan forever and hates the nucks.
he was just having fun mocking van and their fans.
he did not bet chi for the series at all. if he did why would he have the majority of van players in his hockey pool

Kelser shut down Towes and Fisher, Big Joe had a good Series but that was all PP. The Sharks could not score on VCR 5 on 5, this will be the key the because we know the B's wont score on the best PK in the league.

Vancouver has the edge behind the bench
Vancouver has the edge on Defense
Vancouver has the edge on speciality teams
    Vancouver has home ice advantage
Vancouver can travel better and will travel less (b's have to come here)

Fowards and Goaltending are a even.

    Vancouver wins in 5

like i said i think the Bruins had some big time struggles against the fast teams, tampa an montreal. They were able to shut them  down in a couple of the games which made they  difference, but both of those series were wars for boston. Vancouver is as fast as those teams with way more physicality, way  better goaltending than tampa an  a ton more scoring than  montreal. The Canucks are the most complete team an  Boston I think will have huge problems slowing them down if they struggled at times with the weaker east teams that both had more flaws  an took them 7 to win.

An Beiska has been playing better than any D-man in the playoffs  with his good D an providing alot of offense. The Canucks have just as much speed if not more than any team Boston played, along with the most size an physicality Boston has seen. Bergeron is Bostons best all around player. Ryan Kesler is Vancouvers. Hes like Bergeron but with 41 goals an a Selke trophy finalist, an a conn smythe possiblilty if they win. Power plays is a joke. Such a mismatch. Wont even waste time discussing that/ If you break down each line of each team, its a mismatch up an down. The depth of the Canucks is outstanding. The goaltending is the only even thing. However Luongo has been consistently awsome since game 7 vs Chicago where Tim Thomas has either been great or subpar. Even if Thomas played like he did vs Philly which was spectacular it still wouldnt be enough. Vancouver can play Bostons style of game too, a low scoring defensive game an win, like vs Nashville. while Tampa couldn't win that type of game. The rest will also benifit Vancouver at this point of the year. Erhoff an Rome will be back playing, an even Malholtra may be back. Vancouvers time is now. They dominate this Boston team in almost every area of the game.  Luongo is hot,  the Sedin';s are hot, the Nucks have gotten better every series. I could see a 4 game sweep. But I'll call it in 5 games for Vancouver. Im ready to  lay this series price large.

That's why you should plunk your money down on Vancouver now at a little more than 2-1 before the series price climbs any higher Escape. Vancouver, as I've said many times earlier, is a guaranteed L-O-C-K to win the Stanley Cup and there's no two ways about it!!!

I guess I'll preface this by saying im from Boston and im not bashing the home team but Boston has only 1 way to compete against Vancouver.... Stay out of the box. Boston has proven all year long that they can play 5on5 with almost anyone in the league, gut their PK isn't that great, and the PP well...we all know how awful that it is. Like it or not Boston has the ability to slow down the overall pace of any game. How do you think they've gotten this far against (in my opinion) better skating teams? Im not going to sit and here say they are the best defensive team in the league and I wont say they are best defensive team in the east, but they are deabtable, a top 6 or 7. And someone correct me if im wrong but didnt vancouver have the worst goals against in the league? Well without sounding like im rambling, I like Bostons chances at slowing down the overall game of the Canucks. I think this series will be similiar to the Nash/Van or Bos/TB/MON series'. I dont see either one sweeping the other, I think both goalies are strong enough to steal one game atleast. But having said all that, im of the mindset that I'll take a better offense over a good defense anyday. And Boston needs Ferrence to not make any stupid penalties which he has proven to do before in big games when he was on Calgary in '04. Canucks in 6 games

go see 4 days in October on ESPN 30 in 30-stats recede in meaning when the puck drops and pressure changes everything-the Bruins are playing with house money now and they have the key ingredient-a goalie capable of shutting anyone down-see Giguerre with the Ducks when he got them to game 7 vs NJ and that was pretty close...

all the pressure in on the Nucks and they have only one guy I trust with that, Kesler and he's hurt.

The biggest contribution to the canucks was actually Ryan kessler without this guy the canucks wouldn't of been where they are today.

Yeah, you're wrong.  The Nucks had the best Goals Against and  Goals For in the league.  The last team to do that was the 76/77 Canadiens, who went on to win the Stanley Cup.
