I have about 7-9 leans with my own numbers but will likely cut it down to 5-7 plays. I have looked in depth on a few matches. I'll start with the opening game...
Patriots vs Seahawks
Just a few questions that first come to mind since the Super Bowl match.
For NE: Have they upgraded their O-line? Have they beefed up their D-line? The regular season stats were better than they looked playing a weaker schedule but run defense and O-line protection were exposed in the Super Bowl. They added Alijah Vera Tucker at left guard, a slight upgrade and decent when healthy. They added Dre'mont Jones in place of Harold Landry on D-line but production-wise they're more or less the same. Do these two players move the needle? Not really.
They lost breakout safety Jaylinn Hawkins to B-more but brought in all pro Kevin Byard to take his spot who knows Vrabel's system well. The most impactful upgrade for the Pats is at receiver with all-pro AJ Brown and Romeo Doubs. This gives Pats some firepower to possibly keep this from being a repeat of the Super Bowl drubbing. Patriots on paper have improved a bit from last season which they must because their schedule isn't as fluffy now. You'd expect the O-line to perform just a tad better in this match but it's still a question mark going in.
For SEA: Its more about who they lost than who they gained. Seahawks roster had good depth last year so when you look at the entire roster most of the starters are still there minus Kenneth Walker, Coby Bryant and Riq Woolen. The interesting dilemma for Seahawks is the RB depth they also won't have their backup RB Charbonnet, putting rookie Jadarian Price in the spotlight. Can the Seahawks still take advantage of the Pats run defense that worked so well for them in the Super Bowl? Doesn't help that they lost their offensive coordinator. Also the secondary got a bit weaker as well, can the Patriots revamped receiving corp do big damage against the Seahawks defense. It all depends on how Pats O-line holds up. That Seahawks D-line is still really good.
When you factor all of these together, you will have a game that could likely be much closer than the Super Bowl was. The line is currently Seahawks -3.5 and my line have them at Seahawks -4. Pretty tight. Leaned Seahawks but the line perception seem to favor the Patriots due to their splash moves at receiver and Seahawks losing Super Bowl MVP Walker. This will be an interesting game to watch for sure. The smart move may be Seahawks or avoid this prime time game altogether. I took the Patriots spread in the Super Bowl and I would be a fool if I took them again with the same result. I bought into Vrabel as a dog and he is usually decent with 2+weeks of preparation but that wasn't the case. Good luck on what you decide to choose

Cardinals could be a fun team to watch offensively with Mike LaFleur at the helm and sneaky ATS team. Cardinals last season have shown flashes that they're capable of scoring but were one dimensional with a lack of running threat. Now with LaFleur's expertise, top running back in the Draft and addition of some veteran roleplayers on the offensive side, Cardinals have a chance of being more consistent putting points on the board. They have made an overhaul in the running game and special teams. They'll need to score alot of points because there isn't much improvement on the defensive side. Cardinals defense imploded in the 2H of the season likely due to injuries but they were decent at the start of the season. Depth will be an issue for this team but for now I see them being competitive early when healthy and showing out for their new coach.
Chargers came off a disappointing 11-6 season struggling down the stretch. I'm not sure what to make of their current roster but injuries have always been an issue for the Chargers. They lost their free agent starting center Biadasz for the rest of the year. The other new additions to their O-line aren't good only 2 of 5 starters from the O-line return. Keenan Allen also not on this team which means one less reliable target. I think Herbert will be in for a tough year without his security blanket. It'll be interesting to see if Mike McDaniels can get the most out of this offense, they were bad with Greg Roman last season. I think it's tough with the injury bug. Defensively, the Chargers should still be a solid unit, but they can only hold off their opponent for so long..
This line to me seems inflated due to how bad the Cardinals defense were at the end of the season routinely getting blown out plus the stigma of having a new coach. I see some early season value on the Cardinals but I am not sure if their defense will be good enough to win games. Jim Harbaugh hasn't lost an week 1 game in his career as coach. 6-0 suats in week 1 but 5-1 suats in home openers which is still pretty good. I would have bet more if Jeremiyah Love didn't get hurt in preseason. His status for week 1 is one to watch out for. Seems like there is a good chance he will play but we'll have to wait and see. If he does play, then I will strengthen my position on the Cardinals and sprinkle some ML. Right now it's just a standard play for me. Cardinals were +10.5(-114) but didn't like the extra juice, then line went down. I think +10 is still a good number. This was the first game I had my eye on while making my numbers and this game stood out. I don't think Chargers should be laying double digits, at all.
Cardinals +10

Packers are an overrated team. Matt LaFleur is kind of lucky he gets to coach this team another year. Packers are already off on the wrong foot with Josh Jacobs legal troubles and Micah Parsons still recovering from injury. Both players won't be available for week 1. Romeo Doubs, one of Jordan Love's favorite targets has moved on to another team. Defensively, they have replaced two good veterans with another pair of good veterans. Defense is in better shape than the offense is right now. The only positive I can say is Packers special teams which has sucked for awhile could possibly turn the corner this season with a decent return man in Skyyy Moore and a new rookie kicker Trey Smack who went perfect in preseason. There were countless times special teams costed Packers a handful of games
Did the Vikings defense overachieved last season or are they legit one of the top no-name defenses in the NFL? Judging by what Brian Flores has done the past 2 seasons, the answer is this defense is legit. There isn't a real star on that team but what well known players they once had are gone now. players like Javon Hargrave, Johnathan Allen and Harrison Smith aren't on the team now. Other than that most of their defense remains intact and it's a young group that is playing well under Flores. Offense has been an issue for the Vikings last season and they were still able to have a winning record in part because of their defense. Will the addition of Kyler Murray and Jauan Jennings help their offense improve? I think we should see notable improvements on par to their 2024 campaign.
With the line flipping the other way(possibly because of the Josh Jacob news), can this possibly be a trap? The Vikings have gotten the best of the Packers 5 to 3 since Kevin O Connell arrived to Minnesota where the Packers have had a tough time.
Vikings -1.5(-106) *large*

On Seattle and AZ. The patriots will have to prove that Will Campbell can hold up on the blindside. Maybe he was just injured in the Super Bowl…maybe he just stinks. I’ll take my chances with Seattle with a phenomenal coach and still top tier defense.
Chargers laying 10 behind an offensive line already suffering injuries is a classic charger scenario. Arizona can hang in and stay within 10. The chargers will be chargers. Lots of people talking playoffs and Super Bowl for this team, just like years before. Fool me once…

That is a bold statement.
