How the hell is Boston going to compete?
Throughout the thread you repeated that it is over and Boston can't win and were being an arrogant little snot when the Bruins were down.. Now be a man, put your binky down, get your size 5 shoe out of your mouth and say I was 100 % completely wrong, I acted like a clown and move on.... Oh yeah the cup should be landing soon in Boston, I'll snap some photos for you !

All B's fans should get some class. This was a legit write up with valid points. It wasn't me being a dick. You guys continue to show more great Boston fan class
There is really no such thing as a gracious winner on covers. Maybe a select few, but not for a team in general.
Nucks fans are as obtuse as it gets....and they were talking plenty of smack all year long and through the playoffs.....and they can't be surprised if Boston fans are going to rub their noses in it a bit.
If you're going to question a team's ability to compete, you're gonna have to expect their fans to get in your face if they out-compete your team and win. It's just life on covers. Why people take it personally blows me away. We're all sports fans.....and we SHOULD know how this works.

I've been looking at this for a few days now about this match-up an where does Boston have an advantage? They are overwhelmed in every aspect of the game. Bostons D in my opinion isn't overall better. They have a better top pairing with Seidenberg an Chara but Vancouvers depth at D gives them more than the edge. An Beiska has been playing better than any D-man in the playoffs with his good D an providing alot of offense. The Canucks have just as much speed if not more than any team Boston played, along with the most size an physicality Boston has seen. Bergeron is Bostons best all around player. Ryan Kesler is Vancouvers. Hes like Bergeron but with 41 goals an a Selke trophy finalist, an a conn smythe possiblilty if they win. Power plays is a joke. Such a mismatch. Wont even waste time discussing that/ If you break down each line of each team, its a mismatch up an down. The depth of the Canucks is outstanding. The goaltending is the only even thing. However Luongo has been consistently awsome since game 7 vs Chicago where Tim Thomas has either been great or subpar. Even if Thomas played like he did vs Philly which was spectacular it still wouldnt be enough. Vancouver can play Bostons style of game too, a low scoring defensive game an win, like vs Nashville. while Tampa couldn't win that type of game. The rest will also benifit Vancouver at this point of the year. Erhoff an Rome will be back playing, an even Malholtra may be back. Vancouvers time is now. They dominate this Boston team in almost every area of the game. Luongo is hot, the Sedin';s are hot, the Nucks have gotten better every series. I could see a 4 game sweep. But I'll call it in 5 games for Vancouver. Im ready to lay this series price large.

https://www.covers.com/postingforum/post01/showmessage.aspx?spt=23&sub=101067270 This was common knowledge. Uncle PB even made a thread for you but it certainly was not the reason Boston hammered Vancouver. There were many reasons for that. Boston had Boychuk and Ference on the ice all the time and both are liabilities so complaining about defensemen is kinda lame.
Vancouver was beat up and down the ice through and through. Burrows should have been suspended for the cowardly and disgusting biting incident and he would not have been there to win game 2 thus making it an even shorter series. You nor I have no clue who was hurt or playing with what as all MEN respond differently when playing through pain. Hell 8 of my Flyers went for surgery after the Boston series and none of us Flyer fans whom many like to say chirp ever used it as an excuse that I read on here anyway. Ya we missed Pronger but that's life and hockey. You bring who you got and you play with them and don't whine about it after.
Luongo was terrible, cocky, arrogany and whiney. Their Captain was and is a complete pillow biter along with his twin and they need to take the C off of him ASAP and give it to Kesler himself or maybe Bieksa but Kesler gets my vote. Your Captain needs to be a warrior and he is one. No one coming to Sedins aid when he was being used as a plastic punching clown is simply pathetic and cowardly of the entire team imo. The only other reason is nobody on the team cared and if that is the case the need to trade the Sedins which is a good idea if they want PLAYOFF hockey players anyway.
Boston won 8-1, 4-0, 5-2 and 4-0 in the BIG game and mentally, emotionally and physically owned Vancouver during those games. Vancouver capitalized on a couple of Bruin mistakes to win games because they could not create their own from what we saw. This Cup was not near as close as the 7 games would suggest.
One team played with the heart, grit, hunger and desire of champions and the other looked like a group of soft prima donnas who thought they could just show up and win.
Vancouver got dominated in every facet of the game and managed to look completely gutless and cowardly doing it for the entire series.

I'm not going to it here an say I was wrong when I wrote this before the series. This Canucks team was hot, there power play was better, Luongo was playing great, The D had better depth. It didn't translate on the ice for a simple reason. Injuires. Yes everyone has injuries, erveryone plays hurt blah blah. Boston had Horton go down in game 3 we know. But they were all pretty healthy. In good shape. Vancouvers best overall player an a man they needed in this Boston type series was Ryan Kesler. He was the man. He did it vs Nashville, same type of series here. He wasn't even a shell of his self. 1point all series are you kidding. Guy was on 1 leg, largley inafective. I didn't know how hurt he was going into this series. An as Ryan Kesler goes so does the team. Give me the fiddle I don't care. This was the single Biggest reason Boston had their way with Vancouver an why they didn't put up more goals. Of course their D was also ravaged. 1st line D pairing Dan Hamuis done in game 1. Wish i could have looked into my crystal ball an seen that. That was huge. Thats like Siedenberg going down for Boston. Edler was playing with one hand, Rome gets a 4 game suspension. Chris Tanev was playing in game 7...enough said. Again you got to find a way to win through injuries because everyone has them, but jesus Ryan Kesler one really sunk this team, an I didn't even realize it until after the series started, as did everyone else. Good job Boston, Great Job Thomas. One of the best goalie preformances in the Cup ever.
You act like everything you said was before the series started.Go back and READ ALL OF YOUR POSTS IN THIS THREAD.You dumped on Bruin backers the whole series giving them no chance to win the Cup.All those guys were hurt before game 7 but still you were banging the Canucks drums. Now it's over the Bruins won the Cup and you come up with excuses.Pretty weak just like the Canucks effort.
