jag, every bettor has their own rhyme and reason. You have to play what you know. For example, I'm from MN, know almost nothing about basketball...however, A LOT about hockey. If I bet basketball it's pure entertainment, 0.5-1 unit plays to get the "fix". I've used this site for a few years, read a lot of posts, and apply them to my reasoning & logic behind picks...but my logic may not equal yours or any other members.
Just be smart about betting, it is gambling after all, there's no such thing as a "sure thing" when gambling.
I'm on Chicago +1.5 / Ottawa +1.5 2 pick Parlay tonight - 100 -- 90 (or something really close to 90 can't recall of top of my head).

I'm surprised that this thread has gone on for days. I assumed the "Covers Experts" would be protected on this website instead of being "outed" for the salesmen that they are.
I guess Top brass doesn't come round to check on the hockey forum too often
