Depressing game last night but if you think about it nor surprising. Habs were aiming the puck at Chara to try and mame the monster!
I would love to see these 2 teams play each other in round 1 of the playoffs.
I can just see it now, Bruins up 3-0 in the 2nd period of game 4 of the round. Bruins have just won the first 3 games.
Montreal comes back and wins that game 4-3 and Bruins do what they do best, CHOKE for the next 3 games and get to play in Europe which they are so used to by this stage of the game.

Running up the score ? Running up the score doesn't happen in hockey, goals should never come that easy unless the opposition has totally quit, which is what happened last night.
The Habs are a total farce, they're a soft team, with no heart.....one and done.

If you actually watched some hockey games, you will see teams tone it down in the third period when they get a lot of goals in the first two periods, because the coach knows if they run it up it will come back to bite them when the other team will use it as motivation. Anyways it's one friggen game, Habs are in a little slump, the injuries are catching up. Teams have blown out the Bruins this year as well, Don't want any part of the Pens once Sidney is back. Better chances with the flyboys.

Wow the Bruins won a REGULAR SEASON game. Wow, stop the presses. We ALL know the Bruins don't quit until they are up in the playoffs (maybe three games to none). Looking forward to seeing the Bruins go down in the first or second round. Yet again. Which is good karma for the dickweed Bruins fans (who are probably bitter that the Celtics are going to fade as well...)

Its only one game...but I do believe I saw a Montreal team that quit in that 3rd period. I cannot remember that happening in a while. They were beaten down mentally. I actually think the Chara thing worked to the B's advantage with all the media circus up in Montreal.
The B's were actually irked with Canadian management not the players at what they saw as a whining "I am going to take my puck and go home" attitude when the ruling didn't go their way. I think they wanted to and did send that message loud and clear last night.
All this being said...I still realize and respect the fact that the Canadians will be a very dangerous team to face in the playoffs for the Bruins.

I love it, all the MTL fans trying to lay off the fact that their team is a total joke. No heart.
One and done Les Habitants....
one and done.
Total joke? Count the number of man days that the habs are down due to injuries and compare that to the Bruin Goons.
Canadiens are missing their 2 best D men and still only a few points away from the Bruins. We won't catch them this year but I doubt that the bruins will play more games than the habs do in the playoffs.
