The Cards won for the reason I mentioned..they couldnt contain Fitz and Warner was the superior QB out there, even with a pretty terrible 3rd Q from the Cards secondary he couldnt get over the hump.
That first half school Warner put on was one of the best this season.
We talked about it but you refused to listen, the Eagles played a good game and McNubb didnt play bad at all and he wasnt the reason they lost. His numbers were great, they just got in too big of a hole and couldnt make one last stop.
Keep fading the Cards, do you really think Pitt will blitz and get to Warner when nobody has this year? You see his passer rating today? 145...145 against the yet another top passing team. That makes like 5-6 times this year that a top passing defense was going to shut him down and it didnt happen.
Pitt better be able to score because I am positive the Cards and Fitz will put points against them.
McNabb torched this weak secondary yet again. Did you not see how wide
open these receivers were? If McNabb had hit them in stride instead of
missing badly so many countless times they would have ripped off
massive chunks of yardage in addition to what they already had as was mentioned countless times on the broadcast. Donovan
McNabb is the reason the Eagles lost this game.
To beat Pittsburgh you have to get pressure up front in Ben's face and
force him into turnovers. That is not going to happen with this Cards
team. McNabb had all day back there today except for two plays where Arizona brought Wilson in on a safety blitz. If they can't get pressure upfront in Ben's face he will rape this secondary yet again.
Pittsburgh's D has been top to bottom the best defense all season and they have been remarkably consistent all season. With two weeks to prepare they will get it done. And will this Boldin thing be a distraction? I think it was heat of the moment but when you get pulled off the field in the 4th quarter you just can't be fighting with the coaching staff when your team has the ball and has to score.

I was on the Cards sidelines and Boldin was on the bike for most of the 4th Q.
The staff must have seen he was hurting and Haley probably didnt want to risk further injury, and I am sure they were fighting because Boldin is a warrior and wanted in the game..and Haley thought otherwise.

After watching both games I was influenced to bet Arizona +7 for a nice bet and a smaller one on the AZ money line. I have planning on betting Pitt all the playoffs. Neither bet will break me, I love to gamble.
