I have an Applied Science Degree in Sportsbook Managment from CSN and full certification in Nevada. I have worked at numerous books in the past decade but currently I am making a living week to week on football as well as writing columns for a number of football websites. Been a disappointing start to the season so far but the tables will turn around soon enough.
Would you mind telling me what year you graduated with this degree in Sportsbook Management from College of Southern Nevada?

a buddy of mine whos still in high school hit the 80k pools ticket (week 2 or 3 i think?). It's an extremely good feeling to win that!

I see it being an extreme hassle having to fill out 512 tickets making sure that each combination is correct. Even so, you'll have to get your hands on a ton of tickets, and then pay for them at some variety store/ gas station. You might be there for an hour!
With all of that said, if you can find a way to beat the system like this, all of the power to you and best of luck! Maybe when I have a bigger bankroll I'll be able to follow your lead

No but I'd like to keep my private life to myself. This is a gambling forum not livelinks. If you can't believe a person went to a college for two years to work in an industry that employs thousands of people I do not know what to say to you. If I said I was a dentist and went to UCLA you would think nothing of it. People work in the sports betting industry, normal every day people. It's not hard to get a job at a sportsbook. If you weren't spending you day on a forum trying to tell if people are lying about their education you could do it to.

Make a spreadsheet with 512 rows, and fill in cols 1,2,10,and 13 with a 0.
In Cell A1, put in a 0. In Cells A2 thru A512. put in "=A1 + 1". This will give us a list of numbers
In D1, put in "= MOD(ROUNDDOWN($A1/128, 0), 2)". Then copy this formula to the rest of the rows in col D.
Do the same for E, but divide the 128 by 2 to get 64.

Thorpe, does this eliminate some possibilities? For example, I put what you posted into note pad, and did a search. Ticket one would be all 0's. I put a search in for 0 0 0 0 1 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 and nothing shows up. That is a possible outcome. but is not found on the list. Is there a specific reason for that, or am I doing something wrong here?

That's not what it's called. It's called Casino Management and there is one 3 credit course about Sportsbooks.

I have not been able to find results from that far back. What website did you find this information at. Does it have results for WCLC as well as the other provincial lotteries? I noticed the payouts of WCLC are comparable with considerably less winners.

Vegas! Hey bro nice try and logic. We do this (my friends and I) every week. However we play it so you pick 7 games. There is one MAJOR problem in you theory the wipes everything out right away. It is a rule that you are only allowed to play 100 dollars a visit into a store. So....you would have to hit up 25 plus stores. Now some stores let you play up to 200 or more but lots are worried about the law now it seems. Ontario government put in the law last year i believe. Plus their machines go bonkers and cut the store off if tons of tickets are being entered and something looks fishy. They caught on trust me.
So me and my friends put in 150 each 6 of us. And we have to pick 7 games. Also just like others were saying in this thread, to get paid well you have to have numerous upsets! There will be some weeks we favour picking a close game and pray that something like the giants/hawks game last week happens. There are times we have won tickets that have paid us out 500-1000 total and we only break even/win a little.
Trust me lots of time has been put into this logic up here but it isn't worth getting all hot over.

already covered that brother. Some stores have allowed me up to 300-400 in the past but since the cut back I heard they are pretty strict and the machines can tell from the action coming in at the store.

You are not the only one to have thought of this. But like people have mentioned before, there is no way you are going to hit up 512 different stores, its just not possible. Most stores only allow a maximum of $100/ticket. And guess what, if you win and happen to find a store to take more $$$ good luck dealing with the OLG. On top of that, the weeks there is a massive payout usually means there is a huge dd upset. eg. Seattle over NYG last week.

If you hit these four, there are still nine other games everyone else has to hit. Not many people box four games and not many people are going to go perfect. Which the card the way it is, I see between 12-18 people hitting and the payout being in the upper $30,000's.
Wrong i won the pro select pools in the last two years and my payout was only $2900 and change and i have seen it as low as 3 and 4 hundred dollars. One person here in Canada when the pools came out spent over $3000.00 trying to buy all kinds of different combinations and he won unfortunately the winning ticket only paid something like $354. On the other side there have been a couple of Canadian women win over $700,000 as single winners one said she picked it the cities whe would like to shop in and the other said she like the way the quadrent looked when she filled out her ticket. The time i won i boxed 3 teams for $40 and the final game was the game the Bills beat Dallas in Buffalo and Dallas missed the tying field goal on the last play of the game and i had Buffalo to win.

I play pools a lot here in Canada and I dont think it is that simple. If all favorites win, or most win, you arent going to be getting close to 64k....
For example I did a $20 pools on the nba this year, went 12 for 12 I think it was and won only $12.xx lol..... Because all the favorites won.
