Why Saints win Saturday !!!

I do not but I looked it up for the Saints and you are right, in their games where they score 40 or more the following week they are good ATS
I had the Saints last week pretty large and I have to admit, I think the lions played shitty on many fronts, there are a number of reasons I am afraid of the Saints this week.....
1) The Lions are poor tacklers, this would seem fundamental but they missed so many early tackles last week. SF will not do this.
2) The Lions dropped three sure int's, see 1 above. The Niners will not do this
3) The Lions have no run game and a quick strike offense, the Saints will not have that luxury either, the Niners will aim to chew the clock and probably get it done
4) The Saints are on grass, this slows down Sproles and Graham, their best players. It will be a more grind it out kind of game.
5) I think that Candlestick will be fucking rocking, these is a proud franchise that has not been there in some time, it should be loud, very loud.
6) The Saints will have trouble scoring TD's, the Niners are number 1 against % TD's and the Saints have trouble on grass. The Saints have an 85 year old kicker who has no range. This may be a game of FG and Akers is having a career year. This is a huge part of this game.


All that said, I am a Brees fan. I think he has trouble but he is still Brees. The guy is unreal. The Saints may be a little cocky and may get hit in the mouth but Brees will get up and has the ability to come back. If the Saints score early, I would not say the same for Smith. The Niners have to control the pace and the ball, this is not as easy

I am going to play the Niners against what I said at the start of the playoffs which was  I was going to ride the Saints all the way in. I just feel they have better value this week.

"alex smith is the reason why sf will lose" - he went 13-3 and he doesnt have to do it all for them to win they lean on defense and the running game he will make the throws when he needs to.  saints defense is garbage and they have been terrible with takeaways this year. sf has an opportune defense that wont drop the 3 passes that should have been ints against the lions.

Smith's QB rating is higher at home than Brees on real grass and his TD/Int ratio is better as well.(12-3 vs. Brees 9-6)  Last game Saints played on dirt was vs. Tenn. week 13.  They barely covered the 4 pt. chalk at 22-17.  Last game they played on W. Coast was week 2 last year vs. Niners.  They did not cover in a 22-25 win that saw SF -4 in turnovers.  They likely won't do that this week.  Saints may roll here, just like in the dome, but I'm taken' SF.

niners next year a season of growth will serve them well! if they pull the upset good for them! i think they 're a year away!

brees is on rythym right now, and so many skill targets to defense,their o-line is above decent which makes their run game respectable!   i see a final around 31-23  or 27-23  saints!

niers have home grass, and special teams in their favor so field position would be theirs,they will get a couple td'sone rushing 7 one passing, and a couple fieldgoals in the first half, brees will hit three passing and one rushing, and a couple fieldgoals will be the diffrence, it's gonna be a close hard fought win!  but experience in the playoffs is always huge, saints and brees have won it all!

niners have'nt been their yet,but are on their way with harbaugh at the helm,you can see that in alex smith's play he's more a leader now with his better command and steady play of the offense,but the edge still goes to brees for now! you'll see as the game won't be tobig for him as it will a.smith!

Looks like most of covers is on SF .  I am one person that loves d to win over offense .  But i think SF D isnt as sick as every one thinks .
