Sorry, but the only number that is important in the context of your argument is the 8. You bought to the 8 from the 7.5. The 6 and the 7 are irrelevant in this discussion. 

Getting a good line vs. buying points is a totally different discussion. Getting the best line is ALWAYS advisable and should obviously be strived for, but you sound foolish when suggesting I wait to see the game fall on 6 or 7 because you bought up to the 8 from the 7.5. 

Buying points is for losers that think subtracting from EV is a good bet. However, if you trick yourself into believing the 6, 7, and 8 all matter in regard to your 1/2 point purchases, then it might "seem" like it works out in a flawed mind.

Thanks CK. I have preached on this subject many, many times over the years. The books make enough off of the gambling public taking the standard juice. Handing and extra 10% or 20% to them on straight bets is financial suicide. 

Most teams don't win super bowls for extended periods of time, but last I checked no one expected us to win last year especially with our backup and yet it still happened....but thanks for telling us the future Nostradamus 

People just love to hate on Philly. Not many teams in this league who wouldn't take Wentz going forward. 

Honestly, the way that Dallas handled the Saints last week, I wouldn't count out anyone that actually gets in the playoffs. Anything can happen and like Can'tPick said....it happened last year.
