Falcons. Tampa although they lost looked pretty good last week. They were able to move the ball, but still, they lacked big play ability. Garcia is a dinker and dunker. The defense is NOT as advertised although it is okay. I see no reason for the to be favored by a TD or more over anyone. The Falcons looked great in their opening day win, a little too good. Michael Turner is for real, and Jerious Norwood might be the best changeup #2 back in the league. Ryan only threw the ball 13 times 'ala Big Ben in his first year. I think they want to go conservative with him and abuse their run game. This is a divisional game which already has major playoff implications as funny as that sounds. TB will probably get the SU win, because if they start 0-2 in their division, its probably a wrap for them, but give me the 8 points in Atlanta pending an injury update.
Still waiting on the lines for...
GB-DET, KC-OAK, IND-MIN, SD-DEN...
Saints are a pick in Washington. Im not even going to think twice. I dont know if its a sucker bet or what, i cant see Demapples going against The Saints twice in a row, but Washington plays way too conservative and i think The Saints can go marching in at this point.
No opinion on ARZ-MIA.....I dont think i've ever seen The Cards favored by 7. C-Penn is my guy, but he doesnt have any receivers, so its hard for me to bet the Phins on the road.
I like Houston on the ML, I dont think they are as bad as they looked, and i dont know if Baltimore is as good as their win, although i cant discount their defense. Houston was getting smashed around by Pittsburgh, so it makes me ask what are they going to do against The Ravens. 4.5 May be a little too much to give Baltimore who showed last week they dont need Willis to get it done. This game deserves a better look.
Patriots would be favored by a TD if Brady was healthy. They still have the same weapons. As long as Belicheck is the coach, i have no problem betting them against an average team like The Jets eventhough the Jets are one of my favorite teams. I think The Jets are going to need a couple weeks before they are gelling with all their new acquisitions. Unless some convincing arguments arise, i will go Pats ML. Being realistic, The Jets had trouble with the hands down worst team in the league last year.
Cleveland-Pittsburgh. Wow, 6 points. Probably my favorite VP. I must be missing an injury here. This is a prime time game, and The Browns already have a loss in the dogg pound. These guys will have something to prove on this night. Steelers arent as good as they looked last week. I might have to get risky and call for the upset here. Dont worry about the blowout last week. Dallas will blow out almost every one.
Dallas-Philly....I know i just said Dallas will blow out almost everyone. But not my favorite team. Or my favorite QB. Philly looked great and i know they wont look that good, but this game goes down to the wire here, whoever has the ball last will have a chance to win. McNabb does not want to lose to TO. Last season they split 1-1 and Philly actually came into Dallas and won the game. Philly finished last season 5-3 and lost those 3 games by 3 points to the perfect New England Patriots. By 3 points to the hot NY Giants who wound up being the superbowl champs and by 4 points to the Seahawks. 6-3 in their last 9 regular season games, shows they are no push-over. I like this one to be closer than a TD, i dont know if i need to buy the 7, im hoping the public pushes the scale....
So thats it for now...i should get to work, i havent done a damn thing all day....
lets start the discussions
Good luck everyone
