Miami at Atlanta

This matchup involves two of the most surprising teams in the NFL ( Both going 11-5 SU ) last year guided by rookie quarterbacks Matt Ryan & Joe Flacco

Not much history between these 2 teams as they only met once in Atlanta since 1980 .

 Miami is coming off a perfect preseason ( 4-0 SU ) on the heels of an 11-5 record and a division title .

 Miami played particularly well on the road last year going 6-2 SU and 6-2 ATS .

Miami also beat 3 of the 4 opponents it faced from the NFC conference with its only loss to Arizona . During preseason Miami beat all 3 of its NFC opponents making them 6-1 overall vs NFC since the start of the regular season last year .

Meanwhile Atlanta was very good at home ( 6-1 SU)  , though not perfect losing its only contest to an AFC team : Denver Broncos . Atlanta however only managed to go 5-3 ATS during their home games . 

Miami  has the following trend to overcome  : Teams that go 4-0 in preseason have struggled only winning 3 out of 10 games , while going 2-8 ATS since 2003

This of course would favor Atlanta

The other 2 teams that would benefit from the continuation of this trend are Kansas City & St Louis

Going with covers spreads/scores This is what we got so far ..

Favorites got off the gate well , just as they did last year

Despite The Underdog hitting on Thursday ...Favorites went 8-4-1 on Sunday making them 8-5-1 YTD

Unders led the way on Sunday 7-6 , making them 8-6-0 with Thursday's total going under

2 games remain for MNF

2 high spreads were covered by the favorites on Sunday .

One of 13 points by Baltimore and one of 14 points by New Orleans

The " low " totals all went over , while the highest total also went over

KC-Bal ( 36.5 ) went over & Wash-NY Giants ( 37 ) went over on Sunday

Det-No ( 50 ) went over

We have Buffalo-New England at 47 & SD-Oakland at 42.5 left on MNF

Some of the trends in place last year are already reversing , but naturally, its early ...

Thursday games were owned by the favorites and the Overs last year , and already this year we began with a dog and under

Overs began the year 8-0-1 last year ending in an overwhelming 12-3-2 score fest .

This will be put to the test tomorrow night ...
