agree withe the Colts +9.5
small bet on Pats, staying away from SD-KC
Of course it's not the same situation...but Rams been in the same spot all year is my point. GL, I saw that you will be on the Rams. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you......haha.

I don't know, Andy. Your fascination with these "bad" teams is beating your ass like it did early in the 2009 season before you made an adjustment and finished strong. I know you are like me and will always take a tasty dog over the chalk, but maybe it's time to back off a little bit just till you get hot again(which is inevitable as you are a great capper).
I can't say I really disagree with you though on the Indy play though. Take away last week's game in a situation where they walked into a buzzsaw and what do you see with Indy? A scrappy team who hung with a bunch of primarily hardnosed run heavy offenses. With the exception of Houston(and even that game a lot of crazy shit happened to turn that into such a rout), Indy hung right in there with everyone they played. Suddenly New Orleans comes to town seething off an awful loss to Tampa Bay, and their pass heavy, spread em out offense run by one of the game's best shows the world how to expose Indianapolis' defense. Something Indy has not seen all year. It also didn't help that young Painter who is still getting his dick wet in the NFL got his first look at a William's defense scheme with all his blitz packages firing from 1,000 different angles. So where does Tennessee fit into this? To the naked eye, they are in the category of hard nosed running teams that Indy has seen so much of this year(and has a decent degree of success although it never turned into wins), but Tennessee isn't exactly that this season. It is not for lack of trying as they have done everything possible to get CJ going, but it just isn't happening. With a decent quarterback for once, they have kinda morphed into a throwing team first as Hasselbeck must be averaging 35 pass attempts a game this year. Is that the recipe for success against this Indy team, or is New Orleans just a totally different animal? Honestly I have no fucking idea, but looking at Tennessee the last few weeks I have to believe that they cannot duplicate what New Orleans did last week. I don't think I will be touching this game, but I believe Indy has a good chance of keeping this one close.
You mentioned possibly backing the Rams. Unlike Indy, I don't really care for this one. Especially with the uncertainty at QB. I do not trust Feeley in any way here.
I like the Giants Sunday. Looking at a card where half the games were teams laying 9+, I tried to find the one chalk monster I could hit and watch a blowout ensue and I think this is the one. It is strange what a couple weeks can do in the NFL to a teams health and perception. If you heard the NY media just a few weeks ago after the Seattle loss, you would think this team is doomed, Eli is a piece of shit, Coughlin is on his last leg, and yet another disappointing season for the Giants. Fast forward a week after a decent win over the Bills, and they are clicking on all cylinders, winning the usually tough East, are getting healthy over the bye, and might be a force to be reckoned with. Now, I think the truth is somewhere in the middle of those two, but they are getting healthy. With Tuck back, this is the first time that monster group of defensive linemen have all been healthy in over a year. Jacobs will be back. Chris Snee(C) will be back after missing the Buffalo game with a concussion. Andrews might also be back although that is not definite. On the other side, Miami's starting QB is on IR, their backup got his ribs smashed in and is questionable, and their best cover guy is looking to not be playing. Miami also has to be in the toilet after last week's collapse against fellow toilet bowl team the Broncos. This might be a spot for a big time Giant blowout.

I'm not big for trends, you know that. But yesterday on a gut feeling grabbed NE -2.5. I've been up Pitt's ass the last few years. Love that squad, love their style, but thinking back over the last half decade or so, I have bet Pitt over NE on five different occasions. I think NE won and covered all 5. So it may not be "The Wire" sort of detective work on the play, but between that and NE's history off the bye(an obvious reflection of BB's coaching), I'm taking a shot with the Pats.
Also hit up Seattle +2, Giants -9.5, and Philly -3. Don't have time to talk them up but I am confident.
I know I haven't been around much in the threads this year. Part of it is you took a bit of a mini retirement(and I barely use Covers forums for anything else), but most of it is I have been out of work since June with an injury. I would say that 98% of any baseball and football capping is done from my desk at WORK, so being at home this whole season, my "routine" is off, and I no longer have those Mon-Fri 8 hours a day to pop off while I'm bored at work(when at home I like to do ANYTHING but be on the computer...well unless I'm jerking off). Anyway, I'm back to work in a week or two, and I look to contribute more.

GL this week Andy, and let this be the week you start to get back on track. I know what you are going through(do you remember that crazy run last year I had?). That bad streak CRUSHED my confidence and made me bet differently and thank Christ I got hot in the playoffs or I might still be fucked up mentally. Good start to this year and POOF that horseshit from Week 6-15 last year is forgotten like it never happened. My point is it happens to the best of us. No matter how good you are the gambling Gods will kick your ass once in awhile, and sometimes the game changes enough so it sometimes isn't so easy as it used to be. You are a mean motherfucking capper, better than your record shows, and I know by the playoffs you will be in the black, and by the Super Bowl up nicely(like every other year).
GET EM!

that was a bad moose- I prob had the worst moose of the day though- NE +7.5 to finish off a 10-pt, Brady has the ball with 6 seconds left at their own 20 and he fumbles. Polumalu doesn't just fall on the ball to end the game- the buffoon illegally punches not 5 but 25 yards in the endzone and the Steelers get the safety to win by 8 in a play where Polumalu had no business doing anything but falling on the ball the game was over
FUCK I hate the Steelers
