Tomlin MUST go!!!!

Hey Saints fan did I ask for non-Steeler fans to chime in? Shows your IQ coming into a Steeler forum and giving your 2 cents. It would be dumb of me to chime in on the Saints state of affairs as I don't follow them. Peace.

Just take a look at the people that are posting in your thread, all of them are not Steelers fans. As true football fans we must voice our opinion, when we see such wasted space put up on the board. Hey, I am going heavy on my Saints this weak, if they lose, you will never see me bash my coach. Your team will be fine my friend.

I know and that is what I have found out about these forums, there are people that just want to bash other teams because theirs might not be very good. I love your coach and your team and have been a closet fan of them for the past three years. I am headed out to get a Saint's hat because I am embarassed as a Steeler fan right now. I am entitled to that after 30 some years as a fan. Good luck and your team would of kicked the shit out of us had we met up.

I am a true steeler fan and Cal Bear yes the o-line has been a problem. This is why I was disappointed when we chose Ziggy Hood as the 1st rnd pick instead of an offensive lineman. I was hoping for Max Unger or another versatile player that could play different positions on the line. As far as big backs are concerned My christmas wish is that John Clay from Wisconsin will enter the draft, be available when the steelers pick and the steelers draft him.

It is time for some youth infusion on our O-line. When we were 6-2 our line was playing pretty well, not many sacks etc.... Polamalu makes that big of a difference on our D and it shows. I live for the NFL season and it is disappointing when your team has high hopes and then loses to 3 of the worst teams in pro football in a matter of a month.

You guys that are bashing this team are CLOWNSHOES.....period...you guys lose some money on them and then turn around after saying there the greatest and bash the shit out of them. They have some injuries, Ben has been going through the concussion process. And this is all coming from the one who started the thread last year before the superbowl "PITTSBURGH IS A HORRIBLE FOOTBALL TEAM".....

Now you guys see why I said they are overrated in whole...I actually had some hope for them this year after they went on a 5 game win streak, but obviously that was a fluke. Don't worry, when they make some changes next year and beef up there D and O-Line..they will be top notch...but give these guys a break..seriously..they are injury plagued and are not on there game right now. Kind of disappointing, but i still see some fight in these guys for next year..

Oh yeah, and Tomlin is a good coach for the CLOWN who started this thread. He speaks very thorough when at press conferences, probably one of the best I have ever seen, and he should not be used as a scapegoat for the teams bad performances. You should be ashamed if you ask me. I took Pittsburgh last night also, so dont think this is coming from someone who took Cleveland or anything like that..

I am not bashing my team. I merely stated that if you are a true steeler fan , you should not bet on them when they are favored by a TD or more. I am a fan regardless of who the coach is or what the record is. also I gave my preference on how I think things should be or could have been. The remaining games and the offseason will determine what kind of Head Coach Tomlin will be. Yes he is very articulate and thorough when he speaks.College professors are too.That doesn't mean that they can coach and motivate a team. More than a couple times this year they were inside the 10 and went for it on 4th and 1 and failed. The head coach has the final say and you should always take the points IMO. It's a small victory for the offense and gives the defense a better cushion.and not to mention raises the morale of the team.

Seriously go start your own thread! Your IQ is starting to show. I started this to hear from Steeler fans not some "know it all" from Michigan who has yet to mention the team he roots for.

 

Being a homer from the Pittsburgh area, This is how 50% of Steelers fans are, that is the exact same reason why I AM NOT a huge steelers fan. Last year, everyone and there brother was ranting and chanting for them. this year everyone wants to fire half of the team. WTF Are you a true steeler fan or not? look at the big picture here guy.

A lot of good inputs from reasonable ppl in this forum, except saintsfan504.. think of him as a clownhead who goes together with your morning coffee and donut.

Look at this way. Baseball season is right around the corner and you have the Pirates. Also Cowher would have never won a super bowl if wasnt for those horrible refs or as some see it fixed super bowl against the seahawks. Ill take the mad scientist Bill Bellichik anyday. As i AM A GIANTS FAN.

Defending champions will face the best effort of teams every week, so if the champs suffer injuries and/or have team chemistry problems, it is magnified.  Troy being out is a devastating injury to this team as he was the defensive leader on the field.  Then throw in Ben's injury.  When he skipped the Raven's game under questionable circumstances, team chemistry went into the crapper. 

The offensive line also needs to do better against the blitz as Ben has and always will hold on to the ball longer than he should.  This was a problem last year, but under the current team circumstances, it is become worse.  They made the Brown's defense look awesome and we know they are not.

These hard times show the real fans...its easy to root for them when they are 10-2. Take the good with the bad and with our Steelers the good usually far exceeds the bad. This happens...teams have down years...if its injuries, chemistry, or poor coordinator coaching (Arians) no team is perfect year in and year out. We have won 2 of the last 4 superbowls...enjoy it....geez it took me 23 years to see one and Ive gotten 2 in 4 years. We have a good team and well bounce back if not this year, but next. Tomlin is a good coach...he needs to make some appropriate personnel changes...

Get some linemen for your Offense and then analyze your coaching situation.

actually, after reading "your" thread, I would say that, you, personally do not deserve better.  You chided saintsfan for contributing to the discussion.  You said you are going to go out and buy a saints hat.
and your argument for getting rid of Tomlin is that he "sucks"

you do sound fourteen.  Be a fan, and stand by your team.  I loathe people with a sense of entitlement.  some people have made some nice points in this thread.  you were not one of them.

Dumbest thread ever

a few points about the steelers...

1. big ben is overrated. his first superbowl ring he didnt contribute much other than 30 handoffs a game all season.

2. the steelers defense is def. getting OLD. and without Polamalu are a completely different unit. its scary one player can have so much to do with the way a team plays on that side of the ball.

3. Tomlin walked into the best job in sports last year. Cowher built that team, and he deserved that ring, not Tomlin. not saying he isnt a good coach, but its not hard to stand on the sideline and 'coach' one of the best overall teams in the league.

As for you steeler fans, Im glad this is happening to your team this year. You guys are way too cocky and im sick of your terrible towels. Now the towels have a new meaning, the steelers ARE TERRIBLE haha
