Probably a no play for me. You're asking me to pick between a dynasty in a home playoff game vs arguably the hottest team in the NFL, who has been going into the other team's house lately and drinking the milk straight out of the carton.
A few things to think about:
-KC is 5-0 SU and ATS in there last 5 away games, including waxing each division opponent, going east to handily beat BAL, and a solid road playoff win.
-KC defense is top 10 in rush yards allowed, rec yards allowed, points allowed, 2nd in 3rd down %, and 3 in takeaways. Arguably the hottest unit in the NFL.
-NE has created zero, zero momentum going into the playoffs. KC has the swagger, confidence and momentum. This probably affects NE less than any other team in the NFL, but with the way KC has been playing, it can't be ignored.

and something no one has mentioned wich i think plays a small role in this Pats victory at home is the redemption factor.......last loss the pats have had in 2 years that actually meant something was that brutal beating they took at arrowhead last year on monday night......now they get a chance to take them out the playoffs in foxborough and healthy ill take the -5 all day.

As far as "facts" go here is one: Tom Brady was 60-92 for 711 yards 6 tds and no interceptions...and I guess we can throw in the rushing touchdown too for good measure....in the back to back original meetings with the Dolphins and Jets this year. If anyone thinks that the Pats game planned to absolutely win at all costs by decreasing his amount of passes by 23 attempts against the Jets and throwing the ball 5 times in the first half vs the fins then you are living in your own little world. There is just one thing that only counts for the Patriots: Since their loss at KC in 2014, it didn't matter which OL they had, they learned how to play around their weaknesses. Josh McDaniels and Bill Belichick have worked out a playbook and a style of offense that allows them to torch every defense. In the 2014 playoffs, they already had a questionable OL and faced a great pass rush in the Ravens and Seahawks - they scored 28+ points. This season they started with 2-3 ROOKIES on their OL who also changed their positions. It didn't matter!
Jets, Bills, Dolphins, Steelers, Redskins, Texans, Broncos - their fewest points were 24
They scored 24 at Denver against probably the best pass rush in the league after Edelman, Amendola and Lewis went down when I remember right.
I haven't locked anything in yet, but good news came out, an article stating Edelman running ruthless again, I think thats good news, but still have a week to go before I can commit to placing a bet on any of these 8 teams.

TB is the best quarterback in history or at least tied with Montana. The team is home. The motivation factor of playoffs is huge. The team is rested and healthy. The only weaknesses I see for the Pats is they arent so strong out of their base defense gettting pressure on the QB on non passing downs...but again, with the focus on Kelce and Maclin out/not 100% I dont see how Smiths sub par reciever core is going to move the chains.
