Same here. But first of all we'll take Andrew Luck over an old Cassel and then we put our winnings on the Buffalo Bills defense in Rex Ryan's game of the season.

The Eagles released Evan Mathis. According to PFF, he was the top-graded OG from 2011-2013 and finished 2nd in 2014 while playing only nine games. The Jets would be stupid if they do not try to get him. The o-line still needs a boost on OG as I mentioned before.

Way too many posts to read but great info in the posts I read. Is the Team Total wins still 6.5? I think they will win 8 or 9 games myself with that schedule. 

It's actually 7.5 at -135. Congrats to all who grabbed it at 6.5.

IMO the Jets have the roster to win 8-10 games. They have also a very good home schedule. Over 7.5 is a no-brainer and 8 at even odds would represent very good value.

How can it be that say qb is a low priority??

I HATE the fact that this Week 1 line is moving in the Jets direction (i.e., garnering public support).

5 Dimes now has it at -3 Jets and I could easily see it getting to -4 Jets by gameday.

I can't tell you how many times I got severely burned by these short public favorites after line movement towards my team (the worst by far being the Giants -2.5/-3 over the Jags last year in the fumble debacle).

I haven't gone through the whole thread for some time so reiterate your thoughts about Week 1 and if you have changed your position given the line movement (because I know you won't be on the Browns).

The best thing that happenned to the JETS over the offseason is the new coaching staff.

Weird stat in terms of fantasy football, but Geno coming into 3rd year along with his best set of skills players to help out is intriguing. In no way shape or form am I endorsing him as solid, but...

Scal, I never care about line moves or public perception.

I won't put any cent on the Jets until I see a lethal passing attack and a serious gameplan for Geno Smith or anyone who will be the starting QB. Maybe we can get a clue during the pre-season.

The Browns' offense doesn't scare me as I believe they have one of the worst on paper. But they had the best pass coverage in the league in 2014. One important piece who played 97% of the snaps is gone - Buster Skrine. They got a solid replacement in Tramon Williams though. They also drafted Ifo Ekpre-Olomu from Oregon in the late 7th round who was a projected first/second rounder by many mock drafts. He fell so far because he had a knee surgery. If healthy, he could be a solid option for the slot.

So can the Browns be one of the top pass coverage defenses again? I think so. That's the reason I can't place any cent on this game without knowing how Geno Smith will come out in 2015. The Browns won't score much against the Jets. Heck I believe they wouldn't come close to scoring 14-17 points. But how about the Jets' passing game against one of the best coverage units? I can't bet on this game.

The only solid option I can think about would be the under on the game.

Summa putting my 2 cents in on the Jets offense.....I think it will be very conservative.... run-oriented.Ivory Stacy Powell...whoever is hot.....short possession passing game as an alternative to the run game....maybe take shots long on play-action....and let the Defense keep you in the game......I think Fitz can do that......really like this team going forward....hope I am not jinxing them.....

Sheldon Richardson is dumb. I think it's realistic that he doesn't see a snap this season.

I think that 12 year old is dumb. What was he/she doing in a car with weed smoking and gun loading? Kids these days are out of control!

Kids are naive. Taking that kid with him represents irresponsibility and that isn't an example for young people out there.
