You fucks need to understand that not every interception is the QB's fault. It has as much to do with the receivers as it does the QB.

i dont think any of you realize hes leader in pass yards, pass tds and although he leads ints also how can u discredit him and say hes over rated ?? how can u call the leading passer and leader in TDs overrrated??  clearly tom brady is overrated .... the system he was in combined with the great defence and great players around him (moss welker correy dillion days) ppl hyped him up way to much

I agree with NBAFAN,,this is a silly post.  It is sure funny to see how many people will come out and bash a guy when he is having a bad season. In this instance now they say,Favre is over-rated and over-the hill at 41. Last year I bet alot of those same people were saying how good he was at 40 when almost leading his team to the Super Bowl.. The same has happened in almost every sport,with someone having a great career,great year and then the next year when they have a terrible year,all of a sudden everyone thinks they are the worst player ever.  If you have to pick a player that is the most over-rated at their position,you have to do it for their whole career,not one or two years.  To say Favre,or Tarkenton,Marino,Aikman etc are or were over-rated is just ridiculous.  There are so many many more qbs that have played this game that are way more over-rated than any of the ones mentioned here.

Doesn't anyone understand the definition of overrated??  That means the players has to actually be rated highly.  Favre  is no doubt a great player.  But he is talked about by the media like he is the Michael Jordan of football...and he is not.  He was undisputably the best QB in the NFL....2...maybe 3 seasons.  Every single one of his records are due to longevity...nothing more.  He doesn't own a single single season record.  Not one!!!  And how many horrendous interceptions does he have to force in the playoffs because of his desire to be a hero before he is known as what he is....a choke artist!!!

What you mean is no QB will be allowed to continually destroy their teams Super Bowl chances with horrible INTs year after year and still be allowed to keep his job?  Yeah you are correct.  It is unimaginable for it to happen again.  Don't be confused....he is great.  But he is also HORRIBLE in big spots.  IE...Minn-NO last second pick....GB-NYG two horrible end of game picks....GB-PHI...a pick so horrible in OT that it was laughable.  We can go further and further back and its the same story over and over again.

And to say mentioning the media makes my argument weaker was absolutely the dumbest thing I've heard or read all day.  Its an argument as to who is OVERRATED.  The media has everything to do with how someone is RATED.  In 50 years, nobody will care what you and your buddies thought about Brett Favre.  They'll quote the opinions of national sports writers and TV analysts.

What the hell does that have to do with anything??? I was simply stating as to the fact that Green bay was on the map long before Brett Favre and it was due to Bart Starr and the GB Packers winning championships and Super Bowls in the 60's. Please read clearly and concisely before commenting on anything
