I change the channel or radio station the second I hear this guy's name in the offseason (and sometimes in season depending on the topic about Favre).  Just do the same and you'll be much happier.  And don't watch ESPN because they are hypocrites about bitching about Favre as they have round the clock coverage of the guy under the guise of "news"

Not really me personally I hate how acted after hed retired and then decided to come back after wed setttled on Aaaron Rodgers expectign to get that starting job.

It was fluke.lol that had to be one of the dumbest comments in the history of covers, the guy is 40+ years old and played in the most games in history at the QB position, guess he was just lucky for 13 winning games last year...181 wins and 104 losses..considering he didn't play at all in his first season in atlanta ..he averaged 10 wins and 6 loses a year...ALL LUCK

Do you guys watch football games? He looked beat up when? In the new orleans game where his team fumbled 4 times and he was hit so many times that most QB's would have never cameback but he came back on ankle that needed Surgery in his 18th game that season?He threw the horrible pass but that was after he drove them into FG position and the coach blew it. He had done his job in a game where they were at least minus 3 turnovers.

Here a football 101 lesson...there are a lot of QB's in their 20's that don't last a season, it is a tough sport. Marino, aikmen, young, montana, brady,Brees all great extremely tough QBs' just mention a few have gone down or out for periods of time in their sport., Favre hasn't, it may happen tomorrow but for that matter the samething could happen to manning or any QB in the league.

Like I said before obviously you guys know more than the football guys who NOW have changed their tune and are saying he obviously proved he deserved the time to decide. SOME PLAYERS EARN IT...HE EARNED IT.

MDAAKD I know you're a big Vikings fan but do you actually approve of the way Favre plays his waiting game and keeps the Vikings guessing?This is three years he's been playing this selfish game.I would love the Viking to tell him to GET LOST.Also Favre hasn't had two good seasons in a row in a long long time.

Obviously you think watching football on sunday is as tough a suiting up for 19+ years...He was great for greenbay in 2007..he was great for NYjets until he got hurt and they still barely finished out of the playoffs in arguably the toughest division in 2008, the Jets had no recievers what so ever and he played in a new system, Jets had a good running game but no real defense before Ryan. 2009 he was as good as any Qb in the league. He has had his three best completion ratings in the last three years.

 I have said this for a long time Green bay was not that good in some of his seasons but he didn't whine about it he just played.

 The Vikings aren't guessing, the  fans and especially the media is guessing. The vikings are trying to put the best team on the field, the QB's that are in camp are the same QB's the vikings were going with anyway last year, they just got a year of learning from one of the best in the game.

THE VIKINGS KNOW THAT THEY ARE A MUCH BETTER TEAM WITH FAVRE AT QB BUT OF COURSE YOU KNOW BETTER.

Here is some information for you, QB's are tough to find especially ones that played well in 2 superbowls and won 1, yes he won 1. There are a lot of great QB's who never won 1 and Manning has only won 1.

Why is you think that your whining about it, is what the vikings are doing? They actually are hoping he plays against New orleans, some how your surprised by that.

I will say this again, they know he shows up on every Sunday and leaves it all on the field for 19 seasons. That is amazing, if you played contact sports you would know that.

Me and a few guys have a running feud totaly unrelated to football. I am not a fan of personal attacks but they insisted. I must say it is kinda of funny.

I honestly don't like how he is or has handled this situation, but he basically earned it. Besides, I think that the Vikings know more than what we do...  I'm more worried about our secondary than Favre having a good season.
