Believe me moosedagain, I am not jealous of an organization that shows such little respect for the game they are playing. They're treating the sport, its history and its reality like their locker-room urinal, all because they got busted red-handed.

Let me start by saying, that was an unreal game last night against a very "live" Ravens team. Baltimore played a very good game, had they been perfect it likely could have been a different result.
Were the Pats lucky? I don't think so. Was the game in doubt? Absolutely it was. Was Patriot Nation worried? I doubt it, with #12 at the wheel, I think we're all in pretty good hands.
So enough about yesterday, let's talk about tomorrow. I love the Pats schedule over the next two months. Let's assume they get homefield throughout. They play at home the next three weeks and then in week 17 it's off to NY to play the Giants.
Tremendously favorable remainder of the regular season considering the Pats will travel 200 miles once in the next four weeks.
Assuming they win game 1 at home in the playoffs, they will spend literally all but 48 hours of the next two months in Foxboro, save a two day trip to the Meadowlands.
There's no guaranteeing anything come playoff time, but man o' man does this set up very favorably.
Taking a quick glance at other teams' schedules, except for the Colts everyone will be doing substantial travel leading up to a showdown in Foxboro on January 26th.
It appears to be setting up for another Colts vs. Pats AFC Championship. I wouldn't want it any other way!

It truly has to suck to be a Giants fan right now. I feel your pain. Here are the directions to the back of the woodshed. You'll need them for December 29th.

Why is everyone ordaining this team the best ever? This team is flawed and has done nothing all season to fix those flaws. Actually, they have exaggerated the flaws that will be their ultimate demise.
Like many have stated, this team is eerily similar to the Colts from a few years back. They have a thin and below average defense and a superior offensive attack. But here is where the similarities cease and the problems arise.
First, the Pats cannot run the ball. As you saw last night on their first 2 fourth and 1 tries they were stuffed (although Brady, with a cool and collective smirk, posited after the game that he would have gotten the first down if he didn't hear the whistle). As the weather continues to turn, this team is going to have to rely on a running game that does not exist. Last night, you all saw, first hand how much harder it is to catch a football in below freezing temperatures. Moss bobbled a sure touchdown in the first quarter--incomplete, Stallworth and Faulk dropped first downs on the final drive, and Jabbar Gaffney had trouble reeling in the winning touchdown. This team has no running game and it will beat them in cold December and January.
Gillette Stadium is going to turn out to be the Patriots worse nightmare. This team, unlike former Patriot teams, is built to win with speed and precision which are harder to do in the cold. Unlike the Colts from years past, the Vikings with Moss & Randall, or the Greatest Show on Turf, the Patriots home games are in "football elements" not an indoor track. This will hurt them too. Further more, Randy Moss is a "box" that if a team is physical with him like Rolle/McCallister/Reed and Lito Shephard/Dawkins have been the last two weeks-- completely taken out of the game.
Lastly, again because of the cold, injuries occur more frequently because the ground is harder and muscles are contracted. This spells real trouble for an already troubled defense. They could not stop the woe-ful Baltimore Ravens offense which just went Toe to Toe and knocked the snot out of the Patriots. If not for a fumble and interception late in the half and game, we would not be discussing this today.
Similar to the Colts and Vikings a few years back, the Patriots will find themselves watching the Superbowl like you and me.
