Everytime a player makes or doesnt make a play that goes against their bets, the game is rigged lollllllllllllllllllllllllll.  Why do these dopey ass bettors keep betting if they really believe games are rigged?  Why arent these bettors making millions of dollars if they know a game is gonna be rigged.  This type of non sense is really ruining forums all over the internet.  All this rigging taking place daily on the games these dopey bettors bet and yet none of the riggers have got caught with clear cut proof.  Its hard to keep a conspiracy with just a couple of people involved, these dopey bettors believe the conspiracies can be kept quit with thousands, thousands, thousands etc etc people involved in it.  I love when people say vegas is rigging games, yeah like every sportsbook in vegas are all in it together each day, they all face time each other and decide to rig the next days games lollllllllllllllllllll. HERES A FACT, THE SPORTSBOOKS DONT NEED TO RIG GAMES AND THAT BECAUSE BETTORS ARE GONNA LOSE ANYWAYS.  Wake up brain dead bettors.

    @EastsideBangers

    Depends on what you are categorizing as scripted. If you watch how Geno Smith was playing I believe more in games being scripted as certain characters players or player can script the game to cover the spread. There are proven documentaries that prove players can control the game. Look up “Bad Sport” a documentary of the 1994 Arizona basketball team rigging games for a payout. Geno Smith who controls the game was orchestrating a win for the Seahawks but not cover. Just rewatch the game and you can tell he was making sure the bears cover.

    God, am getting so sick of reading every dropped pass being a vegas fix. Most players dont even know what day of the week it is, yet vegas is gonna provide a fix script to these idiot athletes.

    You gotta be pretty foolish, to place bets on something you think is rigged.  Seriously quit gambling today, it will help your mental help.

    SPORTSBOOKS DONT NEED TO RIG GAMES AND ATHLETES REALLY DONT GIVE A SHIT ANYMORE.  Some days they show for their job and other days they dont give a flying fuck.  That arizona thing was with a group of players, not sportsbooks rigging games.  There wasnt tons of people involved and genius those kids all got caught, just like the nba ref etc etc.  Its super hard to keep a conspiracy quiet one more then a few people are involved.  Geno smith aint no actor capable of running some fix script.  Go buy some common sense.

     I am not taking about sports books rigging games which is the reason I mentioned PLAYERS who control the game. So a high prospect college PLAYER can be persuaded to control and rig the game and receive a big payout but an NFL pro player cannot because why?

    Do you even understand the difference I’m trying to make here between people who believe the sports books and the league are doing the rigging in contrast to what has been proven that PLAYERS especially the ones that control the game can rig the game.

    Geno smith can’t receive a big payout by an unknown person or people that receive a HUGE payout by an under dog cover while also getting a Seahawks win? How naive can you be to believe PRO PLAYERS don’t have debts in their family or whatever issues they have going on in their lives. Just because they have pro contracts that’s nonsense?  How naive can you be to not believe PRO PLAYERS can rig a game THEY control!

    How naive can you be to believe there’s no other PRO PLAYERS or college PLAYERS rigging games but that 1994 proven rigging was just an isolated incident. How many are rigging games and not getting caught?

     If you think geno smith could rig that whole game to land on 3 with out the help of all the players on both teams, then you need to put the crack pipe down.  Your burning up brain cells.

    Pro players arent rigging games.  Refs try, but even they cant for sure get the outcomes they want.

    STOP FUCKING BETTING ON SPORTS IF YOU THINK THE GAMES ARE RIGGED.  OR MAKE MILLIONS KNOWING THE OUTCOMES.

    you sound like some 17 year old kid who has watched one too many you tubes videos.

    Really stop with the rigging bullshit, this shit is getting real old now.  Yes i agree college kids like to try to rig games cause especially in college baskets, 99.8 percent will never sniff an nba paycheck and their college degrees are all phony as hell, so these kids wont be making lots of cash when they get out of college.  So yeah they better rig some of their games to get their 401k paycheck.  Now as far as far as thinking pro players are all getting together to script out games, you need to stop using recreational drugs and seek out some mental help. Yes gino smith scripted out that whole game last night to make it land on 3 points.  Yeah he must have placed millions on bears getting 3.5/ 4.  Williams must have been in on it also with that late INT.  So who else was involved in this rigged seattle game last night?  This is whats totally wrong with people today, for some reason when things dont go the way they expect them to go, right away they say everything is fake, not real and of course rigged.  These things are such giant cop outs and really are dooming our whole society.  if seattle covers, then bears bettors would be saying game was rigged.  Seattlew doesnt cover so of course people like you cry game was rigged, instead of just understanding you are never gonna know which players on any team are actually gonna feel like playing and perform their jobs like they should.  This is part of human nature and not everything being rigged.  Something you clearly havent learned in life yet.

    And like i have been saying to all you conspiracy freaks.  Please tell me why you are risking your money on rigged sporting events?  This is so dumb.  Next question if you think these games are rigged, then you should be making millions bettin g on these rigged outcomes.  Its easy to say thye game was rigged after the game was over, because your bet lost.  And last question, if seattles game was rigged last night, please tell us who was involved in this rigging and how did they get both teams players involved to get this exact 3 point outcome.  Is this what both teams were working on all week?  Really if you truly believe games are rigged, then do yourself a huge favor and stop betting and following this garbage stuff. Its sads too many people have been brain washed into believing all kinds of conspiracy crap, instead of just realizing its life and things happen, most of the time not getting the outcomes they believe should have happened.  Hey its your life and if you want to live it believing every outcome that doesnt go your way is rigged, all i can say is that is a sad and horrible way to live your life.  Gambling aint easy, if it was we would all be rich and there wouldnt be any bookies taking our bets.  I started betting when i was 16, because of growing up in the gambling world and now am 62.  Thats 46 years doing this crap.  Wish i never started, cause gambling aint easy, especially when you have to over come the vig to begin with.

    I guess the syracuse and wash st players got together to make wash st score a td with 9 seconds left and have the game land on 17.  Probably the sportsbooks rigging the game so that they could middle themselves.  all the early bettors cleaned up on syracuse bets and the late bettors cleaned up on wash st.

    Great job vegas, you guys middled yourselves.

    I'm waiting for the NFL writers to script the Chargers a Super Bowl win. I hope the writer's strike a year ago didn't push things back.

    My friend who does professional muay thai in Thailand has told me of numerous instances where fights are rigged.  Where they will fly a guy in, give them minimal food, tell them the fight is at 8 pm for instance so they show up at that time but the fight really isn't until 9:30 or 10 pm so they are warming up early, or coming to their hotel to make loud noises.  This is a very low level of professional sports.  Imagine what happens with significantly more money on the line.

    There's been a history of folks getting caught. There was the college basketball team that was asked to point shave, Tim Donaghy in the NBA, various NFL players who have gambled like Calvin Ridley, Jameson Williams, etc. All of that said, how could certain people NOT be involved in manipulating the outcome when so much money is at stake.

    At the end of the day, we can't and won't know who is in on the take so we cannot factor it into our analysis. Just hope we are on the right side. But I do think there are folks who are getting paid to influence outcomes of games.

    @cd329

     Get this through your head….(Joe Pesci)

    ONE guy that CONTROLS the entire game from start to finish which in football is the Quarterback absolutely cannot rig a game by themselves? They control the ENTIRE game if they change plays they throw incomplete passes they take sacks how in the hell can you not understand this?

    It’s the same concept of a Boxer losing a fight on purpose…only difference is they are on a team that THEY control. You telling me PRO boxers don’t rig a fight and take a fall on purpose to lose the fight? Are you kidding me?

    comparing rigged fights to team sports is like comparing apples to oranges.  Sure fights, tennis matches etc etc where there is only 2 players involved of course this stuff can get rigged. To say team sports like football is being rigged is flat out comical. First off if its only 1 player trying to rig a game, its gonna be quite difficult when the other 21 players on the field arent in on it.  You really would need lots of players probably from both teams to pull rig games off.  secondly vegas is quite good and knowing when games are trying to be rigged and if it was players they might pull it off once or twice, but you can bet your ass they would get caught. For these players to risk their careers, the payoffs would have to be huge and thats where vegas would know something is up.

    Next up, how we got so many people on this forum and other forums who actually believe that every play in the game is scripted out.  If receiver drops the pass, that was part of the script.  QB throws an int, that was part of the script.  Its mind blowing that people actually believe that a bunch of dumb ass athletes could actually pull off a whole football rigged game script.  Come on people stop and think about how fucking silly that is. These players would need months of practice to pull off i rigged game script, let alone trying top do it in less then 7 days lmfaoooooooooooooooo.

    Hey calbear please explain what you mean by so much money at stake? You act like every sportsbook in the world is gonna need the same outcomes of a game.  One book might need seattle to cover and the other book might need the bears to cover.  So whos gonna rig the game?  If you really believe books need top rig games in order to win year in and year out, you are 100 percent clueless about gambling and know zero how much of an advantage books have with their 10 percent vig.

    Its useless to try and get people to stop believing this fixed non sense bullshit, because everything on the internet now involves everything in life not being real or rigged. Human race really is doomed, when this is what people only believe.

    I really wish this thread was not started because here we go again.

    Why can't it be to where people believe what they want to believe and people believe what they don't want to believe? If you believe it's rigged so be it. If you believe it's not rigged so be it.

      Me Personally absolutely I believe it's rigged on certain games, especially prime time. Do I have any proof? No, I really don't but it's what I believe.

    So why can't it be left alone before everybody comes and starts trashing me and everyone else about our beliefs?

    Some believe in Jesus Christ and some don't

    Some believe in aliens and some don't

    Some believe in ghosts and some don't

    Some believe in UFOs and some don't

    Some believe in the vaccine and some don't.

    Some believe in demons and some don't

    Some believe in heaven and some don't

    Some believe in hell and some don't.

    Some believe that Taylor Swift is a hot looking chick and some don't.

    Some believed that beyoncé is a great entertainer and some don't

    And some believe that sports are rigged and some don't.

    Some believe that Donald Trump is a great president and some don't.

    Why don't we just all move on and talk football? Who do you like this Sunday?

    Peace out and let's stop about this topic please because it just makes everyone here gang up on each other when we should just be here to talk about what we all have in common on this forum and that's talking about and trying to pick winners in this game of footballpeace

    It's crazy how many people actually believe the games are rigged every time this topic comes up. Even if you are dumb enough to believe that, the fact you would turn around and bet on it, makes you even dumber.

    They are so impressed with my work that they gave me a nice bonus so i could retire early.

    Good for you for seeing the truth. an_clap

    @EastsideBangers

     First of all, it sounds like a happy and healthy(an_angel) relaxing future is in store.

    Loved Hilton Head the few times I've been there...stayed at Sea Pines.

    I was in Bluffton this past Jan for a quick business trip to do an event at a private golf club.

    Now you'll have plenty of time to find a good cheesesteakan_popcornWith that Drank an_2drinksan_boggienight.

    As for your question, when I worked in the NBA in college, I asked several refs why don't the Stars like Bird, MJ, Magic , Jabbar ever foul out.

    They said, 'it's not my job ' to be the star, people pay good money to come to the games..this was 1988-93.

    Of course, their was much less TV money and no fan duel/dfs, online stuff.

    Donaghy wasn't a surprise to me.

    But a big orchestrated fix, No.

    @EastsideBangers

    Been I silent fan of both you guys for years, and now a glimpse to the real people. Thanks for sharing. Best of luck in retirement to both of you. I have run my own business for many years here in LA and trying to find a successor before I can hang my hat has been too much work, business broker and all!

    All the best for a healthy happy 2025! ??
