Damn, the JYJ will be lining up Holmes, Braylon, and Cotchery at some point this season, a pretty scary WR corps by any measure imo... I truly believe that Mark Sanchize has "it" and we may be about to witness the Jets transform themselves from a run-first offense into an formidable aerial attacking offense with the departure of TJones in particular... I mean, compared to the Pats' pedestrian receiving corps of an aging Randy Moss, Sam Aiken, and converted college QB turned WR Julian Edelman, the Jets have 3 all-pro wideouts now, and the fins just picked up BMarsh to go with veteran possession receiver Greg Camarillo and 3rd year speedster Davone Bess... the Pats need to  ake a MOVE at WR and fast imo, they will miss Welker dearly and how they failed to land Boldin is beyond me... the AFC East will be fun to watch this season, that's for DAMN sure...

I'm pretty sure the Jets have ZERO All-Pro wideouts.

The Jets have ZERO former All-Pro wideouts. And to tell you the truth, I don't see either Cotchery or Holmes ever reaching All-Pro status, and I certainly don't think Edwards will get there. It seems as if one productive season was good enough for him.

Fair enough, but I believe that if Sanchez is allowed to chuck it around more next season as I expect, one of the three aforementioned WRs will emerge as an All-Pro, and he might just produce two 1000yd receivers if they all stay relatively healthy; it's becoming a passing league more and more as each year passes don't forget...

The jets need to find an elite pressure pass rusher to get their defense to the next level. If they get that they become very dangerous.

Every GM makes a bad draft pick once in awhile. Busts do happen. Looks like Gholston will be one. This will be his third year, Tanny has said this will be his "make or break" year and if he doesnt perform hes gone.

Look at Tannys draft picks over the last four years, he has done a great job overrall. 2008 was the only bad year.

I think the Jets are already very dangerous.There really is only a handful elite pressure pass rushers in the NFL and you never know what your getting when you draft[V. Gholston] one.They may get Jason Taylor but he is not the same player he once was.

In order for Gholston to perform he has to see the field first. I don't think that will happen. It's safe to say he's gone. And to think there was actually talk of this guy going #1 overall to the Dolphins that year.

We'll give him some time during non-key downs. That motherfucker sure as hell aint coming in on 3rd down thats for sure

and hey, we gave him some time on Westhoff's ST unit last year! lol. till we just threw him on inactive with a couple weeks left of season and that was all she wrote.

give him some more time with pettine and these vets, and a training camp/mini camp, and lets see what he does come preseason games this year. if it doesnt work out, well then fuck him he'll ride the bench again lol

y r u calling someone a moron??? specially when u say miami is a better team than jets...jets are one of the most improved team so far in this off season...and if they get jason taylor..they will be the most improved..

about the dolphins... WHAT ABOUT THE RUNNING BACKS?? at this point in career brown must be watched (he also gets injured for several games...and Williams, how much gas in tank he got left? they are not deep enough in the RB's to be a run 1st team...
