That is a possiblity.  Taking safety prevents that.

Andy Reid closed all possible doors as you should if you a good HC.

He threw the challenge flag instead of trying to save a TO on a questionable play.

He use his final TO at the very last sec on the 3rd down play.

They didn't kneel right away when snapping the ball on their final possesion.  They bleed EVERY sec they could.
