I agree. The deciding factor will be coaching. Whisenhunt and Haley have been calling amazing games as of late. Pitt on the other hand, not so much. I really belive that if Polamalu didnt make that pick last week, they would have let the Ravens march down for the winning score.

when the best defense has played the best offense in the Super Bowl, the team with the best defense is 9-1, including the Bucs over Raiders 2003, 48-20. Other sterling defenses this decade, Ravens 2001, 34-7 over Giants, Pitt 2006, 21-10 over Sea, even last year the Giants whose defense was pretty good in it's own right, put the clamps on the great Tom Brady and what many were calling the greatest offense in the history of the game, and they won! In other sports, countless times has the team with the better pitching won the World Series, the team with the better goaltender won the Stanley Cup. Even last years NBA finals were won by the team with, you got it, the outstanding defense, the Boston Celtics. Fact is, if you don't score, it's damned hard to win.
Any questions about the Steelers defense will be answered on Sunday. Surprised at the amount of skepticism over the quality of this defense. One thing this defense has is playmakers, guys who make big plays when they have too. Arizona has some skilled players offensively, no question. Both units will be tested. I personally feel the difference in the game will be the Pitt offense against the AZ defense, while improved, I think the Pitt ground game is going to excel and open things up for an underrated Pitt receiving corps. I look for some points in this game, most of them by Pitt, just my opinion.
Acres, way too much talk about defense winning championships, yea, you're right they don't win every big game, just most of them...
