    Those ARE real percentages.

They are straight from Dave Mason, who is an owner at BetOnline, and his twitter account.

I'm listening to VSin right now:

    Confirmed:

A bettor, who netted $1.65 million off a $1 million bet on the Eagles Super Bowl win last year, has placed a $1.5 million bet at a @WilliamHillUS sportsbook in Nevada on the Rams that will net $1.8 million if they win.

Purely from a talent evaluation (amateur as I may be) this looks like the Rams have a decided advantage.  When compared to the teams which have previously prevailed in the Super Bowl over the Patriots, Los Angeles looks as good or better on paper in my opinion.

I am not sold on the idea the Rams can win a shoot out, but if they can keep this low scoring then that is probably their best bet.  Defensively they have the type of team which has always given the Patriots problems -  a defensive front that can make the quarterback move his feet and get pressure with only 4 rushers.  Their secondary has been strong when at full strength.

Offensively Los Angeles has been quality.  The QB struggled some late in the season, but that seems to be behind the team.  As long as they mitigate turning it over then their offensive line allows for them to utilize their running backs in a variety of dominating ways.

Capping is not just about players these days though.  It is about vibe, and seemingly about a perpetual narrative that goes beyond just what happens on the field or court.  From this perspective, New England will likely have an advantage.  The Rams franchise has not ever been real solid Super Bowl performers.  They played respectable in their first game against the Steelers, but still got handled by the end of the game.  When they won the Super Bowl, they beat the Titans, who had the Rams not been playing them, may look a lot like them - as in, never won anything.  Tennessee is not exactly a prominent franchise when thinking about a winner.  Then the Rams have also lost as 14 point chalk to New England.  Not great mojo there my Rams buddies.

It seems a foregone conclusion that the Rams let New England hang around.  I sincerely hope that they can hold off a late Patriots charge.  From a talent perspective it is clear to me that the value is on the LA Rams.  Let's hope that's where this one ends up.  Cheers!

Rams in a blowout. 37-20. Brady always looks average in the SB. Always. He has no deep threat. I expect Pats to struggle. They lost 5 of 8 road games this year, and easily coulda lost to Chi and Buffalo....Gronk aint the same player, and Hogan is easily defended. Edelman cant do anything past 10 yards.....

Check down Tommy gets exposed tomorrow. Just remember what this clown does when he’s pressured. Philly pressured him into a game sealing fumble last year in the SB. Rams must bring the heat and Eliminate their dink and dunk gimmick offense that operates on smoke and mirrors. Belichick is the Pats system.  Time to bludgeon Brady and kick his teeth in. He plays way to comfortably back there.

A lot of cash showing up on the Rams.

Glad I haven't played this one yet.  If I play it.

    Sharp cash. Yes.

    Slinging good post

Another story from a Vegas local I follow:

“So if you want the pulse of what John Q Public is thinking about the Super Bowl just sit at a poker table in Vegas tonight. My table consists of only 2 locals and the rest tourists, drinking heavily I might add. All I keep hearing is bet all you got on Brady.”

I heard that one from a capper.

don't like it at all....no way vegss lets this guy win again this year? Hope he is on the ML as predicted most of the public rams backers will be on rams ML.

Another bad thing about this is the money is moving to rams side. I guess it is good since I decided to wager on pats ML as well as rams ATS.

I'm betting on an insane one pt scripted finish since it's proven that I believe sports is rigged

    For entertainment purposes only:

Rams will wear solid blue jerseys

    Pats white jerseys

The Rams analytics staffers passed along stats that show the team that wears white in the Super Bowl has won 12 of the last 14 games. (Last year’s champion, the Philadelphia Eagles, won wearing their home green uniforms, beating the Patriots in the same white jerseys they’ll wear Sunday.) Those stats mattered less to the Rams than the opportunity to wear the throwbacks, and there was no real discussion about wearing anything else, Demoff said. The Rams are 1-2 while wearing white jerseys in the Super Bowl.

They should've worn the same jerseys they wore against KC. Those are badass. The throwback uniform is just lame, wimpy, weak. Yuck.

^ This is the Superbowl caliber gear that the Rams should wear. Why would they not use this? No one has any sense of appearance these days...

The throwback uniform looks lame and weak... this looks strong.

Agree man that uni looks great.

FYI the late $ on Sunday is usually the square $ and why?  Because they can't balance it.

Scary is that the early $ was on the Pats, and the middle $ is on the Rams...so what does that tell you...and what will they do now.

Starting tonight/tomorrow you want to fade the big bets imo.  The ones they can't balance are the square bets.

There has to be some kind of big move, and I'm waiting for it.

    It's early on Saturday.

Honestly Ninja, the Rams throwback uniform (yellow and blue) is wildly regarded as one of the greatest ever.

    Simple, vibrant and classic.

    I love it.

(also love the Pats old unis with the Patriot on the helmet. It was the perfect uniform. Should have never changed).

Aaaaaaaand Rams Sharp money is still pouring in:

The $2 million Super Bowl bet placed Thursday @MGMRaceSports was on the Rams moneyline at +120. There have been two reported million-dollar-plus bets on the Super Bowl at this point; both on the Rams moneyline. MGM bet was first-reported by @beatingthebook.

From the start of 2015 through Week 9 of this season, James Develin had no rushes. Since Week 10, Develin has 8 rushes (7 successful), and since his first rush, Tom Brady only has one QB sneak. Has the Develin rush replaced the Brady sneak as the Pats go-to short yardage option?

I’ll answer that. If so the Rams now know about it (like they didn’t already?) and will be able to defend it better.

If there’s any props on this, over under 1.5 yards is still pretty tempting.

If it’s so sharp why didn’t the line move. Had to keep talking. Now pats win easy.
