Years ago when I was working at the Imperial Palace sports book I had the displeasure of working with the most stupidest inividual I ever encountered who's nickname was the BLINKER.
Blinker asked me why I played the BENGALS as home dogs as they were taking on the SAINTS who where in a "need to win" situation as he liked to play those type of teams.
I told Blinker then you must like to lose, as teams that need to win are great plays against as you get line value, but blinker being the dope he is couldnt understand that and he was nothing but a chalk player anyway.
Blinker is easily the worst handicapper I ever met , even worst than the "stardust guy".
It was one of my favorite sportsbooks, other than Treasure Island to bet on NFL playoffs before 2000. IP Sprtsbook did comp on sports wagers, not much but a couple of free buffets were pretty good for me. Nice compact book with friendly accomodation, i enjoyed it.
Betting a NFL playoff game and watching it at the sportsbook on the Strip was a lot of fun and excitement than watching at home. Why? Because i experienced it. Good luck, Yavapai, ![]()
