But hey if there was such a gambler that was hitting 30% in the long run after years and years of gambling and one day decided to fade himself then he would be hitting 70% in the long run...lol

It does not work. I've tried that before when I have been on a losing streak. I concentrated real hard on two games and bet the opposite. I lost again as my ORIGINAL plays both won. Then it gets to the point where you do not know if your are fading yourself or fading a fade to lead you back to your original pick. It basically makes you nuts and is not even worth trying.

In the short run there are gamblers who can hit in the high 50% region, or the high 60% region, or the high 70% region etc. etc.
Right now this season I'm hitting 62.79% in the NFL with a 27-16-1 record, in the NBA right now I'm hitting 59.52% with a 25-17 record ATS, however in the long run I am only hitting 51.52% with a record of 2143-2016-31.

Maybe the Law of Large Numbers would fit your logic, but that is taking an infinite number of bets among all players.
But I think in the "Long Run" for an individual player is his entire life. And there are definitely players that will average 55-60% (as well as those that are 40-45%) in their lives
Unfortuntely, I'm probably in the 45% range for my "Long Run"
